This was interesting. Supposedly from a SiCo employee. Posted on AR15

I heard this was happening a few months ago and assumed it had already taken place. Source is a former coworker now at SiCo who I keep in touch with.

    Some contradictions with that statement
    1. If their company had recovered and is doing so well, why would they have to be picking people to lay off?

    2. The fact is that statement above simply does not make sense if they were worried about picking and choosing which friends had to go, they would have removed themselves a year ago

Agreed, and I do not think they recovered. They had some layoffs, so maybe they are not running up as much debt, but the existing debt is not getting paid off either.

Not to me it didn't. These people were believing their own press releases.

Perhaps they should have taken on enough debt to buy off a few more senators then.

I didn't follow their releases, but I thought the HPA would pass, but national reciprocity would get stuck in the politics.

Of course the flip side of that is, if HPA did pass, the imported cans for pennies on the dollar would have likely sunk them anyway.

They should have just hired a lobbyist to explain to them how hard it is to pass pro-gun legislation.
But they had a successful lobbyist . . .didn't you read the press release . .. . And yes, that was snarky

Isn't that about the same as giving money to a politician and expecting them to tell you the truth? Lobbyist will take the money for a losing cause in a heartbeat. And probably whisper lies about how successful you will be the whole time.

    Perhaps that was the problem.

Well by the time lobbyist got to 2nd billable hour, they should have realized it was not a "done deal".

Please tell us about all this innovation in the suppressor world......

Sure. How about better marketing and putting kiosks in local gun stores to aid in the paperwork?

    Nevermind, wrong company.

How about putting a can on a rifle that is a non-NFA item? That's something as long as you don't mind muzzle loaders.
