Everybody’s focused on watching Dianne Feinstein’s orgasm (including me). HOWEVER look at Cornyn’s reaction - especially at the very end of the video clip. Texas’ Sen. Cornyn was the original author of the “fix NICS” bill.

That look on his face is very telling. He’s VERY vested (extremely so) in seeing the ‘fix NICS’ bill get passed. After Trump’s comments, it looks like he wanted to turn and ask Trump, “what the hell you trying to do.... kill my bill?”

I've got an idea for a "compromise"... Might be fun watching the leftists with this one... How about we repeal NFA34 and GCA68, declare the absoluteness of the 2nd Amendment at the age of 21 with penalties to any legislator that introduces an anti-2nd-Amendment piece of legislation, and restrict those under 21 to only being able to purchase single shot rifles and single shot shotguns. We won't need the 4473 anymore and those under 21 will be filtered out by the retailers, just like they supposedly do for underage purchase of cigarettes and alcohol.

    Give a little, take a lot? :)

Can we also not allow freedom of speech until they turn 21? That will eliminate most of FB, Twitter, snapchat and their music too. That's a win-win for all involved.

Hummm... getting machine guns back for an a age 21 restriction? I’d guess even for the DIMocrats, that’d be a “bridge too far”!

We would also need to repeal the Hughes Amendment to the FOPA, that way we could have NEW machine guns.

I know from personal experience, *somebody* reads the emails. Granted, it’s been twenty years ago (Kay Bailey) but I wrote her an email - off her website - requesting a flag that had been flown over the capital on a certain date and boom(!) an American flag shows up with a certificate attesting ‘this flag was flown over the U.S. capital, Washington, D.C. on xx date’. (It was the date my bride of twenty years ago, became a U.S. citizen)
    Good story!

    Good story!

And a true story. But I still can’t convince her she needs to get her LTC!

I’ve got this vision of *some* government employee, whose job it is, to stand on the Capital’s roof at some obscure place, running flags up and down a flag pole all day. “Okay, next one...”

And you would be correct. And then there's the guy that folds them correctly all day. Maybe they have a machine for both jobs???

That FixNICS bill gains Senate cosponsors almost everyday, 53 so far, however the same exact bill in the House has only 9.

Nope. There's more than one flag pole. A group of three people for each pole. One runs the flag up for a few seconds and the other two fold. At least that's the way it used to be. I've heard that recently it's one guy with a stack of flags and a laundry hamper.

Maybe make it graduated... Up until 18, no access to the internet. From 18 to 21, 300 baud modems... ;)

I for one would like to see better reciprocity. I’ve been a nationally touring musician for years and it’s hard at times always being in different states and having to constantly checking their reciprocity.

National Reciprocity seems to get shelved after each new mass shooting.

Yep, shelve it just to reintroduce more bans or gun control bills. Ya know they have to protect us all from those big bad firearms that sprout legs and roam the country looking to make another kill...
That's why I have mine firmly shackled, it's worked, not one has gotten out and killed anyone.

Oops, I forgot, that was before losing them in lake Odessa, damn boating accident.

Yep, it kind of makes you think that just maybe there is some sort of leftist conspiracy going on here. More *manufactured* incidents like they did at Waco in order to get the unconstitutional AWB passed. :(

But, they're a bit more careful these days... They don't want a misguided patriot to retaliate like happened in OK City.
