Just curious. I haven't handled one and my first impression was that it looked like shrunken version of my P320. Then seeing that it held 10 rounds, 12 with the extended mag, it seemed a bit hard to imagine. I may have to look closer into it, but right now I have too many guns I'm working towards.

It's quite a bit smaller than the compact 320. What makes it desireable to me is not only the size and weight but the capacity. Sig scored bigtime with this one. Not sure how they managed to get 12 rounds (13 with one in the chamber) in a micro smaller than a Shield but they did.

Yeah, I could see that. I will say that when I saw it and saw the capacity, I wanted it, but then if I acted on my impulses I would be constantly broke.

I really know nothing about it - guess I should read a review to at least learn the basics. Polymer, striker-fired, right? Doesn’t appear to have a manual / external safety?

It’s “modular like the P320? Serial number is on the fire control unit? Is frame (grip module) inter-changeable with other sizes from Sig (or a third party vendor)? Talk more about the trigger, what’s factory pull weight set at?

The fire control unit is serialized but I don't think they consider it a modular design, yet anyway. I measured trigger pull at just over 7lbs.

I’m really liking my EC9s for EDC. Super easy to conceal, even with just a T-Shirt on my skinny frame.

Carrying it in a Remora holster around 4 o’clock

No, I don't carry a 1911 and never would. Too big, too heavy and too fucking slow. IMHO. I have several in my safe but they're not my daily carriers.

I said 1911 platform (not 1911.). Sig P938, Sig P238 are both 1911 platform pistols, light weight and fit into a pocket AND it wouldn’t be a wise choice to carry them with the external safety off. IMHO

I carry a S&W .375 magnum in my Jacket, and don't really notice the weight until I take off my Jacket, then it's heavy, but then the jacket weighs much more then the gun.
