I dunno. That's an awfully old-fashioned idea, that it's ok to strike a man who speaks "fighting words."

I thought in this new, po-mo, SJW-shaped world, we were never allowed to get physical unless they other guy does first. And if the other guy is a girl, we're supposed to completely ignore that.

I believe you're behind the times. The SJW's now think it's OK to hit someone that disagrees with them. They believe words can be violence, so if you disagree with them you have perpetrated violence upon them and they are justified in hitting you.
