    If you're not a gorilla, and feel the tightness of properly torqued screws, it ain't that hard to replicate with hand tools. I think the thing that surprised me is how firm 20ish inch lbs are when installing scope bases.

    FWIW, I bought a FAT wrench through Amazon and returned it. Thought it felt cheap, flimsy plastic and hard to adjust. Replaced it with the Vortex, much happier with fit and finish although the Vortex only goes up to 50 in/lbs vs the FAT's 60.
