12 firearms and only 230 rounds of ammunition? He did have some other stuff that maybe wasn't quite legal, but I thought they had until the end of June to register their "assault rifles".

"Kirschenmann is out on $150,000 bail, accused of 12 felonies for possessing assault rifles, silencers and a multi-burst trigger activator."

He must have lived out of state for a while and bought that stuff elsewhere. He had to have known it wasn’t legal to have that stuff in PRK. The story doesn’t make sense to me.

Some stuff could have been purchased before ever-tightening restrictions set in.

Other things like suppressors have been banned for quite a long time and likely were brought in.

The articles aren’t clear on details, but he was busted for what he attempted to register, then they found lots of other felonies once they raided his home.

Just wow. That is so f'd up. A guy trying to comply with their bat-shit crazy laws gets busted. Kinda like the federal laws on MG's .If it ain't in the system, there's no way to make them legal.

It's supposed to be a play on what the left thinks of me... so in that context I don't think they'd want a right-wing lunatic fringe gun nut invading their safe space.
Oh! I thought the lunyfringe was like the Nevada side of the California border.

The suppressors have me scratching my head. They've been illegal in Kalifornia for ages. If he bought them out of state then he would have had to notify the BATFE he was transporting them across state lines. Unless he didn't do that either. If that's the case he's a complete idiot.
