That homie with the Indian scout jumps the fountain today. About 7-8pm. It'll be on the history channel. We'll see if he can top Evel.

On a side note. I've been following the owners manual for break in on the Honda. I haven't opened it up yet. Took a ride this morning and shifted at around 7 grand. Maybe I didn't know exactly what I bought. Anything below 5k and it's realistically quick.

Open it up past 5 grand and this MFer takes off. Not sorta quick but haul some serious a$$. Good God, wait till breaks in and I push it to 11k. It'll already pull the front tire off the ground at low RPM...

    This thing is a F'ing rocket. Hee-Hee

There I was running W on hwy 114 heading to the hwy 26 exit into Colleyville Tx at about 1 am. Its Sat night and I had been over in Dallas bar hopping looking for some smilin Mona Lisa, thinking I was a hero only to be told I was a zero, so the B seat on my Harley was empty. But it was a hot summer night and the cool air felt good. I am rolling about 75 and suddenly along side me is some green machine spewing rice out its tailpipe. Its a good looking bike and it's rider points to mine and gives the thumbs up, I do same and yell, Show me what it will do. I know it's a fast ride and I hear him downshifting as the bike screams like a banshee. Suddenly the bike stands up on its hind wheel and he is leaning forward in the pegs as I watch him disappear and all I see is a vertical bike and all I hear is the hard shifting of gears. WOW!!!!!

I catch him at the light, I am making a left into Colleyville where I live and he is going right into Grapevine we do a knuckle shake and I head for house DULY impressed.

Late night searching for sliders. I can make some but for the price. They make them nicer. Been searching for a week. Cross searching part numbers between the CB650F and the CBR650F. It's pretty much the same. The CBR stuff is designed to where you don't have to cut a hole in the flairing.

I came across a Texas company. They make it in Dallas. Check these guys out. The price is about $50 less then all the other competition and Texas made. I might email them and see if they stamp that into them.

    E-mailed.

"Do y'alls frame sliders come stamped or engraved with, "Made In Texas"?

If it doesn't that seriously sucks. I'll be ordering some frame sliders for a 2018 CB650F. I can't find anything that says Honda changed the engine and frame mounts for 2018. They'll fit.

    Thanks *************

P.S. You need to put Made In Texas on it."

One guy offered me tractor parts for it. Why?...I have no idea.

Some guy offered me a 2002 dodge stratus for a gun I had posted... Wonder if its the same dude.

This is after posting that I didnt want any trades. I usually get one or two people who send a message with their trade anyways but that really caught my attention

I back searched the guy. It's some kind of swap meet piece by piece. A variety of stuff. The tractor parts stood out to me. He had an old Dodge truck too.

If you have. Could you give me a personal review? What brand of bike you put them on? How comfy? Did you cut them down?
Had Renthal lows on my 919. They were nice. Have TREX sliders on the VFR and they are local and good folks. Try to visit twtex.com - a Texas cycle forum

Anyone know a locksmith in DFW that can clone a proximity key for a 2016 Volvo? Used car dealer just had one. Called 2 Volvo dealerships and one wants $450 and the other one $350.

I got a replacement key for the Porsche off Ebay.
Had to go to the dealer to program it, but still saved $$$.

I've had the new fork seal for a month. It's sitting in a bag in the top of the tool box.

I just didn't feel like changing the turd out when its 100°. Ugh, I need to do it. Ill get it done before the weekend. The Suzuki is going up for sale. I've gotten use to riding low and forward on the Honda. When I get on the Suzuki. Muscle memory isn't remembering the high cruiser handlebars and the foot pegs that feel like there on the front of the bike. Way out front. Now it feels weird as hell. Like I've never rode it before. All the memories have been wiped out by the Honda.

That's okay. The Suzuki boulevard can be replaced by a Honda Grom. Vroooom...

    Honda-Grom-19.jpg

I sat on one at the dealer. I thought it was a joke until later. When I found out it'll do 80mph and it's DOT legal. 125cc. I had a Honda trail 50 as a child. The grom is about the same size but with twice the motor. Ridiculously small bike.

Yamaha 125(250?) enduro was my third. Bigger brother would ride it to his mechanic job at JC Pennys. When they had an automobile department.

Huge POS. He wore the $hit out of it and gave it to me. It wouldnt catch a cotton tail rabbit in third gear. I ran over a trash bag of beer cans somebody left out by the ditch. I had crushed beer cans in the chain. What a Turd motorcycle.
