It is currently holding 4 pistols and 3 revolvers with no issues at all. Don't know about the printed specs. I don't know where 22 gauge wire came from but one of the questions shows someone measured the plastic coated wire at approx. 5/16 inch. They are fairly stout. Here is their home page.

    Currently holding:
Ruger Competition Target, Ruger 22/45, Glock 21, Glock 19, Ruger Vaquero 45LC, Uberti Cattleman .22, Ruger SP101 .357.

Probably from the ad on Amazon that was linked to.

Midway USA is offering a NRA lifetime membership for $600. Not sure if this is a good deal or not. Kinda thinking, yes. Chime in with your thoughts

I've been a Golden Eagle for so long, I don't remember what I paid for my first lifetime membership. I think it was $350 but there was a big push on at the time.

Life memberships often go on sale during the convention. Does anybody know what they were costing during this last gathering in Dallas? That would probably be what you'd want to measure against to determine value.

Blueangel, as young as you are it's a good deal. For me, not so much - (I go thru this conversation with SWMBO every year since '72) - still an annual member. I'll pay $45 next Feb.

Wish I was as young and felt as young as you think I am. I know they sometimes have pushes for new members. Seems as near as maybe five years ago, the going rate was $300-$500. With time and as always inflation, iit could have gone up. If anybody knows what the going rate was/is, please share. Thanks

$600 is now the go to cheap rate. Never really gets discounted below that so if you are in the market, then that is the cheapest price you will more than likely see.
