As the father of two young ladies that are starting to spread their wings, this made my blood run cold.
I hope the police catch these guys.

Could be completely random but my guess is that this is related to the company that one of the parties keeps. People love to flirt with danger by cavorting with people who may seem or act for effect a bit shady but seemingly not dangerous. The problem with that is who that person is associated with. Innocent information mentioned by those initial contacts to far more nefarious minded associates gets turned into opportunity for the enterprising criminal.

From the video it sounds to me that it is a single mother and daughter who live at the house, probably making them sound like an easy target in the minds of the perpetrators.

Video didn't play for me, but it states they came home at 4am???

First thing I noticed too. That sure is an active neighborhood for four o’clock a.m. (!)

And prime example of the old expression, “when seconds count, the police are only minutes away.” Never a stronger argument for LTC to be made, than seeing something like this!

This happened way too close to home for me. I'm not surprised though. The east, West, and southside of San Antonio is a shothole. I hope to leave soon. Crime is getting worse and worse. They would rather paint rainbow crosswalks than prevent crime.

Yep, every time I travel over to the area we lived in (281&1604), it seems to be getting worse. Now that might be just my view based in my new digs but every time I'm with my daughter I always say to her how glad I am to have moved out of it.

We’re in the Fair Oaks Ranch area and petry crime is routine and on the rise at La Cantera and The Rim.

Neat resource here from LexisNexis showing community crime data.
