Elefant tank destroyer. Originally called the Ferdinand after Ferdinand Porsche and officially called the Panzerjäger Tiger (P) with ordnance inventory designation Sd.Kfz. 184, the Ferdinand tank destroyer used the abandoned Porsche tiger tank hulls for their chassis. 91 of them were built.

Great pics my man! Two things of mention.

    1. Aluminum Overcast....what a beautiful airplane.

    2. The Oracle Challenger flown by Sean Tucker. This is Sean's last year of performing. If you have never seen him fly (and are interested in this sort of thing) then this is a bucket list item. He is a one of a kind pilot in a one of a kind aircraft and can do things you simply shouldnt be able to do. He will be at the Houston airshow this year at Ellington.

I saw Sean at Oshkosh earlier in his career in 97. As I watched him do his snap-roll-on-take-off maneuver I thought to myself "Well, he wont live long" yet here he is today.

On of the most incredible talents with wings the world has ever seen.
