Do you mix it in a sprayer?
    How do you apply it?
Yes sir... I mix it with water in a 1gal sprayer. It's a ratio thing. I usually go heavy with it though. I also keep a mixture in a hand held sprayer that I take out at night for my black widow homies. The widows are bad this year. I try to lay down a perimeter about once a month. + or - due to how much rain we get..

    In the woods...
I thought it was getting better. Wednesday it went the other way. Not much pain...more of a burning sensation with some swelling.

One week later it looks like this.

Impossible to tell unless you saw (which is what this thread is about) and depends on a lot of things like your immunity and resistance to such venoms or bites, also your allergic tolerance. The hardest thing is that these always change within yourself.

Unless there were extenuating circumstances a red wasp poke wouldve been gone by now. We are a week and one day into this event.

Not much experience with a scorpion, so cant say.

What I CAN say is that whatever got you, its winning, and it appears your body is not. Your call on whether its bad and needs immediate attention or you can make it to monday.

You didnt draw your lines on it. Do that TONIGHT. Not a whole circle but 3-4 little dots or marks around the red area so you can quickly tell which way its going as time passes.

I know your muscling through it but dont let it go too long (much longer)

    Second opinion.....

My boy looked at it. Naval Corpsman with the Marines in Afghanistan. Like we have surmised... he said it looks like a bit of an allergic reaction so if you KNEW it was a bee type insect then some topical Benedryl and rest might take care of it but if it had the possibility of being something venomous like a spider or scorpion etc then you need to "beat feet". (that means getcher butt to the doc)

    In the woods...
Doc has me on a z-pac and prednisone, and icing the ankle twice daily. He seems to think the heat and pressure from my lace up work boots exacerbated things. I'm wearing loose, low shoes for a few days and directed to report any change, other than positive, immediately.

Thanks for all the advice and concern!
