The video shows the whole incident with a good angle to see what happened.
I'm say, as soon as the gun was drawn & the guy backed off, he was no longer a threat.
If the threat is not advancing towards you & backs away it's hard to claim you are having to defend your life.
    I'd a say a bad shoot.

Appears only two actual crimes were committed in the entire incident: illegally parking in a handicap spot; and assault by the guy who pushed the shooter down.

Waving your hands in an argument and shouting are not crimes, and neither is being a dumbass douchebag, of which both sides are guilty.

If I was forced to bet, my money is on the shooter eventually walking in the State of Florida.
But, I'd limit that bet to a thin dime ...

Bullshit. This guy was in an argument with a woman when he was physically assaulted to a degree where he reasonably feared for his life. The true guilty party is the guy who ended up with a round in his chest, as he was getting ready to assault the guy on the ground again after already doing so. He did not cause the situation to escalate to that point, he was merely telling the woman she was illegally parked.

You better believe if I'm coming out of the store and find you getting into my wife's face I'll end that altercation for you real quick like. Shooter started it. Shooter murdered somebody after he was getting shoved away from the person he was verbally assaulting. I've seen the freaking video.

What video were you watching Max? The video I saw, and it would seem a large majority of people saw, the guy backs off after the initial shove, AND backs off further when the gun is drawn. He never made another aggressive movement after the initial shove. And the Shooter certainly did escalate things. "Merely telling the woman she was illegally parked" would have been a simple friendly "hey, you can't park here", not the arms waving yelling we see in the video.

My understanding in "Texas" is that for a handicap spot to be legit, it requires a sign, & a fine for infraction attached to the sign.

    More knowledgeable people please comment.

The guy steps back pulling up his shorts A sure sign he is going to come in and stop the dude.

Did you listen to the Sheriff that explained why he did not arrest the dude you really should it was a long explanation.

With the freedom of slow mo and instant replay you can see what you want in the Video

It was 4 seconds real time from SHove to shoot. If you watch close you can see when the gun is fired and the dead guy is not turned away when the gun goes off.

I have no idea what screwed up laws Florida has. I know if I get a long winded explanation, I'm hearing a lie. Truth is short and to the point. What we did see was that the guy was absolutely in the right to end the verbal assault on his wife, and he did it comparatively gently, be shoving the guy to the ground, rather than cold-cocking him.
Everything else, like "he was pulling up his pants! this means he was gonna stomp the assaulter!" is industrial strength, clinic sized bullshit.
And I know in Texas, I get no points on my "self-defense" defense, if I'm the one who started the shit in first place. But the car was parked in a handicapped spot! So what? Even a St. Louis cop wouldn't execute somebody on the spot for parking illegally.

The Texas standard complies with the national ADA standard, and signage is not that specific.

    https://gov.texas.gov/uploads/files/organization/disabilities/accessible_parking_fast_facts.pdf

"Each accessible parking space shall be designated as a reserved space with a sign showing the symbol of accessibility."

    From your link.
I didn't see the part about fine amount required.

    Requirements:

" Each accessible parking space shall be designated as a reserved space with a sign showing the symbol of accessibility. Designated van-accessible parking spaces must have an additional "Van-Accessible" sign mounted below the symbol of accessibility.  Signs shall be located 60 Inches (1525 millimeters) above the ground. "

When I took my CHL, my instructor gave a scenario
"You pull up in your drive way & see your front door is partially open, you step out the vehicle & walk towards the door... intruder comes running out of the house & throws the TV at you as he's running away... do you have the right to shoot him?
He said you have ever right to shoot, but can you beat the court case.

Man, I ain't gonna tell you how to live your life, but I can find nothing in law that would justify this.

He's already ended his trespassing on his own. The TV is already busted as soon as it hits the ground, so no recovering the property that way. The "prevent the person from fleeing" in 9:42 is an "AND" clause that doesn't justify preventing the fleeing just to stop the fleeing...
