Is it really worth the extra scratch to get an adjustable gas block? It'll be fired supressed from time to time.

Wasn't required on mine. I just stuck a H3 buffer in there. The ROF does go up and it gasses you in the face real good though.

If that bothers you might be worth it.

Is an Aimpoint worth it over a Holoson? Shilen barrel over a Bear Creek? Atlas bipods, etc... maybe, maybe not--- it all depends on the shooter. It also is going to be determined by BCG weight, gas port size, sensitivity to blowback, etc.

They're a very nice thing to have, however they usually aren't necessary.

I guess I'm going to have to order a block, unless you want magpul parts all the stores around here suck for parts selection.

Seems odd. Aren't a lot of suppressors designed for shorter barrels? Do we know which ones they are? Never heard that before (but ........... there's lots of chit I've never heard of). It would be good to have a list.
Some say not for use under 10.5, I guess it erodes the blast baffles quickly and more chance of a strike.

I've got a 7.25 inch barrel on my AR pistol and plan on getting a suppressor. Anyone know which ones do not warrant their suppressors for short barrels? We probably need to get a list going for this forum.

Figure out what cans you'd like to choose from and the spec sheets usually have full auto and length stuff listed

Looks stupid (it's only getting 9.4" KMR rail) but it'll be fun. Same length as my other AR without a muzzle device though.

I will definitely figure it out before I purchase one. From doing a little research on "SnipersHide" forum, it appears there is no issue in finding one for a SBR. The subsonic 300BLK is an easy pic.

Imho, always get one with specs higher than what you plan on using it for.

I don't own a 300winmag, but you never know if I'll want one later. Can is rated for it however.

I don't think I'll ever get a 300WinMag. So I'm safe with the 300BLK. I really like the BLK subsonic that uses about 11 grains of Accurate1680 an loafs along at about 1100 fps.
I'm not saying you'll go that high, but you'll never have to worry about a can that's over built.
