Ok so here's the deal. I'm itching to buy another pistol and can't decide what to get. They're all really close in price with one exception. So here are the options:

Sig P320 for $375 at classic firearms. (Police trade in with night sights)

Glock 19. Never had a glock but apparently I need one.

    CZ P10C. It's a CZ.

Sig SP2022. There's something cool about these. Plus its hammer fired.

I'm leaning toward the p320 mainly because of the price and the trigger. I love the polymer sig's trigger. What do y'all think? Any other gun that I just gotta get instead?

Don't get the Sig 2022. I had one and hated it. And I'm a Sig guy.

    I would get the Glock.

Glad to hear from someone who's owned one. That gun has always intrigued me but I've never met someone who owned one so my only source on it is gun magazines and YouTube with their normal "its great" recommendation of every gun ever made.

I looked at one at Academy a couple months ago and liked it. Didn't buy it because they wouldn't let me test the trigger pull. Been waiting on my local gun shop to get one to try. What are your thoughts on the trigger pull?

I had an M&P40 made in 2013 and really did not care for it due to trigger and lack of grip texture. Then came the M2.0. Trigger is a huge improvement and grip texture is outstanding. I now have a M2.0 5 inch 9mm, 40S&W and M2.0 compact 9mm.

I was going to put an Apex trigger in my old M&P40, but just traded it off. With the M2.0 I see no need for an Apex trigger.

As for your original options I would go with the P320. It fits my hand the best out of all of those and shoots amazing. I really was interested in the P10C, but got to check one out in a local gun shop here a few weeks back and the insane stiff mag release was a huge nogo for me. It was almost impossible to push the mag reelase on the left side. Trigger was really good though. I really like the white nitride option that is out right now.

Is there a consensus on which generation G19?

So far I've got a few recommendations on the Glock. A "no" on the SP2022. A "meh" on the p10c and one yes on the P320.

The Glock 19 I shot was kinda like a Corolla. Didn't wow me. It just shot. It was a Gen5 and I found the little cutout in the front of the grip annoying as my pinky landed there every time. The P320 had the best trigger of the bunch but Sig has been under so much scrutiny lately and it seems like they're finding new failures in different models every week. The P320 at classic is "factory refurb'd" police trade in. So I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

    G19. Get it.

If the grip fits you well get a Gen 3. Police trade-ins are available.

If you need the extra backstraps go gen 4 or 5 depending on which grip you like better between the two.

Add another yes for the P320. It’s probably not factory refurbed, but has been back to the factory for the “voluntary upgrade”. I really like the trigger in my 320.

If the grip size fits you go Gen 3. I was die hard Glock only for years. Once I faced the reality that the Gen 3 (latest gen at the time) did not work for me due to grip being way too big for me to reach trigger properly I moved on.

Once Gen 4 Glock came out I did not give it a chance due to brass to face issues and I found I like other handguns so much more.

As much as I don’t like the p320 that’s a good deal. mine didn’t like anything but premium ammo and I traded it for an xd mod 2 service. Getting it to eat ball ammo was like getting bill Clinton to stop undressing interns with his eyes.

Op, consider a sig p229. I took mine out for the first time today. Loved it. What a shooter! And my phone got too hot from the sun so I don’t have range pics. I’m sorry guys. I’ll go in the corner of shame for no pics.
