Right? Like signing over your car title to Firestone when getting your brakes done, LOL.
Keep in mind that until you pay the bill for those breaks in full, the shop is a part owner of your car. And the controlling part. As they can keep the car, charge interest, storage and other fees as well as sell your 50k car to a buddy for $50. Based on your non payment.

Not really . I live in the real world , and watch People's Court. You can pop a cap in them if they sell your 50k car to a buddy for $50. You might be wrong , but they won't show up for court.

Bring the buyer to your FFL, having the buyer or you pay your FFL and get the background check and paperwork done. Safe and easy.

PA has the same BS law for handguns, all must be transferred through an FFL. Long guns can still be done face to face.

Keep that nonsense out of Texas.
Which part is nonsense if you don’t want police to knock on your door for a gun you sold long time ago? Most ffl charge around $30 for a handgun.

Of course it is perfectly legal to deal in a parking lot to save the $30.

Where in California and/or New York are you from?

For someone who is very concern that the firearms he is about to sell might be used illegally, selling through a ffl is not expensive. It is neither required nor forbidden in Texas.

Starting to do so would just open the floodgates of all those "Ahm an avid hundurr and Ah hav diss here shotgun and nobody else needs something different, and I support universal background checks, see I'm doing it, hurr durr."

I was merely making a suggestion tomm and as I said, feel free to buy or sell in whatever way you want.

And did I say it is grammar?

I was the one with the “writing” style, so why use “their” instead of “his”. Because I represent all Asians? All because some people think all Asians are write like that?

That is correct. "Their" indicating possession, an, as in, the undefined article if followed by a vowel.

If you're trying to rag on peoples' spelling, best not be illiterate yourself.

Because we are civil a.f. and didn't want to assume your gender, Nancy.

I don't understand what you are trying to communicate.

You have the syntax of an Asian person who reads/writes English as a second language.
    Obviously, I was correct.
I didn't make the implication that it is good or bad.

There's no reason for you to be offended.

Eff BOS. I will not buy from someone wanting a BOS or a CHL/DL.

I require a TXDL at the least, so I see the person is from the State, because if I were to sell it to someone out of State, it would not be legal on any level. I would have to send it through an FFL, fill out the form and send it to their FFL. I am dubious of people who sound like they are trying to manage to speak English when their first language is Spanish (Which I speak just fine). The issue is I would never knowingly sell a firearm to an illegal alien in violation of 18 USC 922. So, when someone seems as if they are challenged with the English language I require them to show me a TXDL and a Resident Alien Card/Proof of Citizenship. I am not willing to knowingly commit a felony. Also, there have been a rash of robberies lately in Houston of meet up with you for a sale/trade. I always CCL with retired badge and CHL/LTC. I trust no one, until there is a reason to. I go into a FTF, observing the behavior. I would hate to have to shoot someone, but I am not above doing if it goes bad.

I had a guy when I did a trade recently and ended up with a Nice VEPER shotgun about halfway to Houston. He wanted a BOS, but when he saw my badge, he figured it was moot. He showed me his TXDL and LTC. Good enough for me.

BOS's can turn people off. Some people feel it is a good security blanket. It someone uses the gun wrongfully down the line, it is going to be really, really hard to prosecute. They have to prove you did something illegal.

I sold/traded with someone who was legal. If he gets tired of it and passes it down the line, and someone shoots someone, they may ask me as the original owner. I will shrug, and say I sold that firearm a long time ago, where it went after that, I have no idea.
