I prefer the Pacmyer grips on my 44. First time I shot it with the woods grips I blasted 50 rounds, and my hand was bruised up badly. Not the same result with the Pac grips.
I actually found the opposite. The Pachmyer grips just pushed straight back into my hand, and the wooden grips I let the gun rock backwards in my hands..

Wish you had said something. I smooth forgot about Mesquite and loafed all afternoon.
    Sorry about that.

Mesquite has two gun shows now, the Mesquite Rodeo and the Big Town show. Both are very good and I make it a point to go to both. The rodeo show I believe is just a temporary thing as I see they only have it up 2 times this year. The Big Town show is bigger though

This link will show you the schedule
    https://gunshowtrader.com/gunshows/texas/

Since they are both premier shows, you can sign up for email reminders for when a show is upcoming
    https://www.premiergunshows.com/contact-us/join-email-list/

Lastly, the next two shows in Mesquite are coming up in October

    Mesquite Rodeo October 6 & 7, 2018
    Mesquite, Texas

Premier Gun Shows at Big Town October 13 & 14, 2018
    Mesquite, Texas

I forget to go to those. They are my favorite shows to attend. Kind of gave up on the Dallas Market Hall show, which for decades was my favorite.

I'm choosing to go to the smaller Bonham gun and knife show instead of the Dallas show this upcoming weekend. Dallas show isn't worth it for me anymore to drive into that shit hole of a city. Ill make the haul to fort worth though

Yeah, the Hunters Extravaganza at Will Rogers is a good show. I usually go to that one.

The Market Hall Gun Show this Sat is put on by the Dallas Arms Collectors Assn. They sponsor a free Hunter Safety Course at this gun show. You have to preregister at their website https://tpwd.elementlms.com/course/hunter-education-classroom-course-2104/ as of now there are 50 openings. Complete info is on that website. I took another grandson last year last year and he wants to go back with me this year and wander around with me while his little brother takes the class.

I've got that knife. Have you had a problem with the clip catching on things?

If it works for you, cool. The end of the clip flares out so much that I can't brush past anything without it catching. I finally bent it so far that I ruined the clip. I really like the knife, though, and if I could find a lower-profile clip I'd go back to carrying it.

If you contact Benchmade they’ll send you a new clip for free.
