LOL, I was holding the front of my suburban up so my son could crawl under and change the oil and I saw your last post and started laughing and it almost slipped out of my hands. Damn thing is heavy.
You crack me up Ole Cowboy
A real man wouldn’t have needed the son. Just held it up with one hand and reached under with the other.

This is what I'm doing typically on the bike. 10 minutes of hard riding gets me 3 miles... then a 3 minute cooldown

Getting closer to my end of year goal of 300 lb deadlift
For those who dont lift, my long legs are a big disadvantage to me in the gym.
    Something I have to overcome
You guys who are about 5"8 can lift the moon!

I have thought of doing a Spin Class.........For the view. Good cardio would be a bonus.

When I had some back issues, my wife suggested doing some Jillian Michaels Videos she used at the house. It kicked my butt. Doing more core building and functional exercises have helped my back though

I took a break from the Gym Saturday and did a 5K Mud Run and yeah, it was raining the whole time and 73 degrees, pretty awesome
Much of it was literally running in 4-6 inches of red lake mud, several 10-15 ft mud pits you had to crawl through, a tire flip, barrel rolls, running with kettlebells and climbing obstacles.
Pretty fun and at the end, they had a construction water truck to wash off with

My gym bought a new weight bar just for dead lifts.
I’m gonna use it for the first time today.

I had little set back last week on the leg press machine.
I had it loaded heavy and managed to do something to my lower back and it caused the outside of my left foot to be tingly numb for several days.
Went to chiropractor Friday, exray looks good, just compression so got an adjustment and it has almost gone away.

A warning for everyone, and I knew better to do this. Those machines in gyms where you sit and lock your body into a fixed position and isolate one muscle group, can hurt you.
They don’t let you have free range of motion.

The leg press machine, even adjusted fully back, don’t fit my long legs and it puts me in danger of hurting my back with heavy loads, so I will go back to compound lifts and squats for leg work.

Made it to the gym at 11 today
The new deadlift bar is cool.
    Smaller diameter
More knurling than normal bars for better grip.

I was feeling it today and did
    255 X8, 275 X 6, 305 X 3
Kept good form, back felt great

Also did goblet squats with 50 lb kettle bell and 3 sets of Bulgarian Split squats then went and pigged out for lunch with a fellow TGT member.
