    It's hard to beat the enjoyment of batting a big, fat, slow flying, fly out the air.

    The moment the swatter makes contact. To where you can feel the thud as he crashes. Flies so fat, they make a sound when they hit the ground.

    Speaking of killing bugs, anybody know what this thing is? I just killed it over my back door.

    Including the antennas, it was 5-6" long and, despite the look of the picture, the body was silver.

    Looks like a kind of borer beetle, not sure which. they have many types, usually associated with the type of tree their larvae bore into.
