Noticed ole Eric Holder is mouthing off, advocating actions other than peaceful demonstrations. He should be charged with Fast & Furious scheme, resulting in death of Border Patrolman Terry.

He should have been charged and put in prison for his "take over" of his university Dean's office and actions during that event.

Holder has been a marxists agitator for decades now. I think seditious traitors are death penalty eligible. After the fair due process he so flippantly suggested be denied Kavanaugh.

I swear we need to set up a couple guillotines in the capitol and demonstrate their historical use in removing traitorous trash. Ofcourse I'm not talking about using them on people rather a message of our unhappiness. Actually calling for violence and trashing the constitution due process and civil discourse that creates mob rule is a Democrat communist and marxists trait.

Here’s a link to the Atlantic article covering the report I mentioned earlier.

    “Large Majorities Dislike Political Correctness”

    https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/a...orities-dislike-political-correctness/572581/

I’ve been pretty pissed at the Atlantic lately, but this article is an exception. I’ve downloaded the full study source to review, but the article makes enough sense and aligns well enough with my experiences that I’ll take it at face value for now.

    Thanks for sharing.

Lots of talk like this. But you have to ask yourself, what is a position you could work with the current Democratic Party on?

Figuring out a way to stop the mass murder of young black men.
Helping to bring black people out of poverty.

    1) Allow people on welfare to get jobs without losing all their benefits
    2) Allow people on welfare to get married without losing all benefits
    3) Allow people on welfare to save money without losing all their benefits
    4) legalize some/all drugs and use the tax money to provide treatment
    5) expunge the records of all drug offenses
    6) pay impoverished kids to do well in school
    7) give impoverished kids a choice of public schools, let the bad schools get a reset
    8) reduce the level of competition for low paying jobs by stopping illegal immigration

Rather than being lost all at once, benefits should be lost slowly. For example for every dollar you make you lose 10 cents of benefits.

you cant sign up for benefits until you have lost everything

If people getting 15K of benefits can get a $7/hour job to make even more money and only lose about 70 cents of benefits, most will do it.

It kind of works that way now. If you were a Federal Agent, and retired, and got another job, for every two dollars you make employed, no matter where, the Government will take one of those dollars away from your pension. If you retire from the Military, there is no such restriction. So, a lot of retired Federal Agents just do whatever they heck they want, because there is absolutely no incentive to work. Why have half your money taken away when you can go out hunt, fish, travel, whatever.

This is called racism when brought up for discussion. The left has no interest.

Helping to bring black people out of poverty.

That would mean reducing the welfare state. The left has no interest.

    1) Allow people on welfare to get jobs without losing all their benefits

    You can already do that.

    2) Allow people on welfare to get married without losing all benefits

    You can already do that.

    3) Allow people on welfare to save money without losing all their benefits

    You can already do that.

    4) legalize some/all drugs and use the tax money to provide treatment

Some states are trying this. It seems that the costs associated with the legalized drugs are using up any tax money made, and th costs are possibly higher than the revenues earned.

    5) expunge the records of all drug offenses

“All”? I think that should be thought about a little bit more.

    6) pay impoverished kids to do well in school

Funded with what money? And on what basis should an impoverished child be paid while a straight A middle class student gets nothing. Sounds like a recipe for corruption as well.

    7) give impoverished kids a choice of public schools, let the bad schools get a reset

This has been brought up many times via school vouchers. The left says they’re racist.

    8) reduce the level of competition for low paying jobs by stopping illegal immigration

Are you seriously saying the left will do anything to stop illegal immigration? Once again, they will scream racism. They are more concerned with importing anyone they think will vote Dem, legal or not.

Rather than being lost all at once, benefits should be lost slowly. For example for every dollar you make you lose 10 cents of benefits.

I don’t think this would solve the welfare issue. I’d probably think it a better idea also if it were closer to 1/1 instead of 10/1.

you cant sign up for benefits until you have lost everything

Great idea. Dems would fight it tooth and nail.

If people getting 15K of benefits can get a $7/hour job to make even more money and only lose about 70 cents of benefits, most will do it.

So the government should pay people to have a private sector job? I think if people had to get a job or starve, they would do it. No welfare benefits unless employed at least 20 hours a week. I’d be open to a higher requirement.

The part about you can't sign up for welfare until you lose everything.
    That ain't going to work.
Just means that those welfare will have more than someone that was not on welfare.
    Makes no sense.
If there is going to be welfare, and it is going to be fair at all, there has to be a bottom threshold before you are starving and homeless.

I have a neighbor that hires a stable hand to work on his ranch. The stable hand will not marry his 'WIFE' because they have several children and she gets welfare. She gets extra money because one has Down Syndrome. She can buy a car from a tote-the-note lot for $100/month paid buy the gov't.

My neighbor keeps trying to get the stable hand to get his GED and will pay for vocational training (and dental care) but the stable hand keeps telling him to stop trying to help!!!!!!!!!!!!

The stable hand is perfectly happy with his life!! His wife gets several thousand dollars per month for the kids. She gets EXTRA for the Down Syndrome kid. She gets to buy a car for $100/month to get the Down Syndrome kid to and from the doctors.

The stable hand has a DWI so he does not drive. The 'WIFE' drives him to and from his job at my neighbors ranch.

Between the stable hand's job and the gov't subsidies my neighbor calculates that the couple makes between 5 and 6 thousand a month.

When I was in my 20s I only WISH I could have had that income!!!!!!!!!!!!

Working the system has become a way of life!!!!

Exactly why the system is as big as it is. With all the help you get from all the different give-aways you can get more than you can by working.

That's the difference between yesterday and today. In my time, and I can't speak for all, but most I knew were married that had a family. For a short while, early in my marriage, I lived in low income housing (ghetto) and had to get assistance (welfare), but all I could think about was how I hated where I was and how I could get out of it. To me, at that time, it was always a temporary situation, nowadays the system has made it to where there isn't a real incentive to try to better oneself.

Yep. Those avoiding marriage to game the system are dirt. There’s also those who have divorced in order to increase benefits. The system is broken, but make it easier to get welfare is the wrong answer.

    Welfare is degrading.

I know, as a young kid at one point I lived with my mother who was quite capable of working, but opted for welfare.

I was so embarrassed and vowed this would be a temporary thing.

It was and I never looked back.

Welfare, for the most part, no, not always but for the most part is for scum who feed off the system and have no sense of dignity.

It SHOULD be embarrassing to be on welfare. When my daughter was born we had WIC. It was embarrassing as hell to go to the grocery store because everyone could see that I wasn’t able to feed my own child. I hated it and did everything I could to become self sufficient again.

I remember at one point Obama giving some speech saying nobody should be embarrassed because the are on welfare. I say that’s bullshit. Doesn’t mean I will treat someone poorly because they have it. But they should have enough moral character to feel ashamed about living off of others. If they did, the welfare system wouldn’t be such a mess.

I’d be in the business of finding a new hand. Someone that isn’t responsible for themselves can’t be trusted to be responsible with others’ property and livestock.
