    He could use longer bolts and go through the pallet too.

    Better than nothing.
    I reckon, but wouldn't it be pretty easy to break away the pallet, and then you've got a ~30° lean on the safe against the bolts?
    Maybe even bust the bottom out .

    I wonder if insurance accounts for mods? None of my guns are "face value" anymore.

    If a faulty water heater is such a concern, I would invest in a "on demand" water heater.

    And yes, these guys will analyze any post. That's what makes this forum so good. Their just looking out for you and anyone else.
