I had a one owner 1911 Colt 1911 Series 70, Nickle Finish. Great gun. I traded it for a SIG P226 Navy. Slide was embossed with an anchor stamped in the slide. I feel like I made a bad deal. Your thoughts?

Since everybody I ever knew who fiddled around with a 1911 managed to shoot a hole in something they didnt intend ...will say you made a great trade. My Sig P 226 is a well mannered member of the family. I have lugged him around so long the half life of his radioactive night sights only glow feebly these days. Not many flipper..flappers or safeties on that one. Pull the trigger he goes boom..every time.
