I'd love to see her be the first female President. Can you imagine the liberal meltdown? Not only would we have put a woman in that office before them, we'd put a competent one there, too.
So long as the numbers "2", "0", "2", and "4" are involved. I think she'd be a great follow-on to Trump.

Yep. It's the effect of warm engine exhaust which has water vapor in it hitting extremely cold air at high altitudes. It's been a common and well-known effect since aircraft were first able to get up over about 25,000 feet.

Yep. Contrails, and NOT Chemtrails. But you can't convince the conspiracy crowd of that.

I heard that in light of the situations going on today, institutions are clearing their clientele out, the liberal socialist left has redefined crazy.

OK, Here we go....I fully believe global warming is real. Call it global climate change. Some genius is always gonna say: " Global warming my ass, it was 20° here yesterday ." It's not about temperatures in little spots on the earth, but the mother nurturer of planet earth, the ocean. It's a big place, and a few degrees is a telling difference.

It's funny how this topic has drawn such political lines, to the point where nearly all democrats believe in it, and all republicans think it's a democratic conspiracy. I fully believe it's happening. I believe it's fueled by man made manipulation. Is it freon? I doubt it. Does limiting the release of freon help? Probably. I'm just a broken down old carpenter, but my money is on destruction of rain forests, and the natural habitat in our neighborhoods being replaced with concrete.

The polar caps are melting, and the oceans rising. It's a small change to be sure, but it's there. What do I know? I'm an avid outdoorsy guy. I have noticed a huge change in migratory patterns in wildlife. That's a huge tell somethings amiss.

So, blame it on the democrats and stick your head in the sand, but don't even try to tell me it isn't happening, even though we might disagree on how and why.

I'm a pretty fart smeller, but I will tell you I'm sure it's happening, but not why.

And before we even go there, yes, I know there was a frigging ice age and the climate on earth fluctuates.

Well at least we know these harmless contrails have nothing to do with it.

Aren't your observations based on roughly the same sample size of the guy that says it was 20° today? You aren't adding any more data then he is, so you too aren't doing much to help your argument.

If you really want to have a conversation based on your own evidence, where and when EXACTLY have you noticed the change in migratory patterns of wildlife? I'm not being facetious, just want to continue the conversation based on your post with actual data and not feels.

Also, you ask why it's become a political issue and I would venture to guess it's political because the Left, the world over, have used "climate change" as a way of empowering/enriching themselves and controlling others. The Left through and through are all about controlling their subjects. Whether that means through gun control or control of how you go about your day, they want to be part of all of it.

"Man Made Climate Change (TM)" become a political issue because the left can use it as justification to impose socialist control over industry, trade, and everyone's daily life. It's not science, it's leverage. You can tell because every few years they change their story as the data, even with careful massaging, starts to not fit the conclusions they drew - thus "Global Cooling" became "Global Warming" which became "Climate Change" - so now they have a catchall term that keeps them from having to redefine their unassailable scientific consensus...

Bottom line - when you're told "the science is settled", as we are being told by climate change activists, you're being sold a line of bullshit. Science, by its very nature, is never "settled". Theories have to be tested again and again in order to be accepted. There is a reason accepted results are called "theories" instead of "facts" - because they have to be challenged and proven over and over, and if they don't hold up to new data, they're tossed aside. Even those few scientific principles that are referred to as "laws" - such as the Laws of Thermodynamics - are tested from time to time when new data is discovered just in case they don't hold up. We're being told man-made climate change is a fact. It's not. It's a deeply flawed hypothesis that only holds up to cherry-picked and sometimes manipulated data but is being championed in order to dismantle our institutions and curb our freedoms.
