Probably not. I remember when they first hit the US market & I thought about getting one as they were cheaper. I thought do I really want all that loose empty cases rattling around in the case with my gun. Now I figure if I have an extra $2-$2.5K I should save it for a 10 mm MP5.

Parkerizing is finished...long hot day, but it's done. Final assembly tomorrow. It ran fine semi-auto.....now to run FA.........bolt was registered with Form 2.......

Ran into headspace problems trying to put the Gemtech Mist on the PWS.....I would have had to make a permanent mod to either the rifle or the suppressor so I ordered a Ruger Target Light and swapped the barrel out without further problem. Topped it off with a Leupold 3X9 and I am quite happy thus far. The group is 20 shots off hand at 25 yards...I can shoot it with the Mini-Mags indoors without hearing protection. Subsonics won't cycle it (i was already 99% sure it wouldn't anyway) and are insanely quiet.......

Subsonics won't cycle it (i was already 99% sure it wouldn't anyway) and are insanely quiet.......

What subsonic are you shooting?

The orange box Gemtech stuff cycles mine perfectly.
The Mist suppressed barrelis 16.1 inches I think, 1/2 barrel and 1/2 undetachable baffles.

The ~8 inches of barrel usually gives plenty of back pressure to cycle all the subsonic stuff I've used with the exception of some wimpy Fiocchi target. CCI Quiet 710 FPS definitely won't cycle but that is predictable.

The 710 "Quiet" CCI is amusingly silent, especially when I put my thumb on the bolt the stop the half-cycle clack noise!

Yup! Large pistol primer drives the firing mechanism. The 2 1/2" shells are recommended for the M203 launchers. The M79 launcher can handle the 3".
