I am very concerned one of them will out minority the republican candidate ( see george wallace speech on how he lost his first election for governor). Short of the 13th-15th amendments or voting rights act being repealed, or a basic intelligence test to vote i am thinking republicans dont have a shot in 2020. Very concerned about when the next shots of the civil war will be fired.

Trumps a bafoon. No doubt about that, but he won for a simple reason, Americans are pissed off and tired of being called stupid, i.e. the left says were not wrong we just didnt explain it good enough, or racist mysogonist xenophobic deplorable uncle tom and everything else based not on actions based In Bigotry but differences in opinions based on everything but. You know bitter clingers to guns religion and old ways.

These idiots on the left still dont get that when they label a group like the NRA murders they are really label all gun owners murderers or when labeling a candidate racist they are labeling all who likes him racist. That pisses people off. A crap load of trump supporters were also on unemployment due to Obama's progressive policies that nearly destroyed who industries, and are sick of fighting the left attempts at controlling everything and taking their shit. They were so taken for granted Hillary couldn't even take the time to campaign there. Until this kinda stuff ends they will have trouble even beating a bafoon like trump. Dont be too loud about it cause if they ever figure it out we could be in trouble. Lol it elected Reagan and now Trump and in the past probably helped the First Radical Republican get elected in the mid 1800s.

Yes Trumps a bafoon, but A bafoon who has fought for 2 years to actually follow thru on promises, unlike most pols cause he isnt an establishment candidate who owes any favors, and has a RIP roaring economy. Oh and he fights back like a Democrat and people love it. Is there a danger? Maybe.

The only danger to a Republican 2nd term is if Democrats grow a brain. They need to stop the attacks on Trump and shut the press up, cause it only makes him stronger, shut down the wacko far left socialist and communist and their black shirts, quit trying to take away property and livelihoods, i.e. guns and jobs, and find a new centrist liar er candidate and platform. Then let Trump cut his own throat. If not attacked and left alone he is the biggest danger to a second term. Things like the Kavanaugh debacle and constant false stories by the press only weaken any chance at relevance the left might have. Importantly things like the utter absurdity of the Steele dossier and some of the accusations about Kavanaugh which were so cartoonishly obviously fiction from a horny prepubescent like tard destroy all who latch on to them.

I dont think there's a chance in hell it happens. I think after Hillary's organized crime like take over of the DNC and the fall out of her orchestrated Sanders campaign assassination the dems will be in civil war mode and lash out at trump mode. Why else could they have lost? The face in the mirror is always the last to be noticed.

Good ol beto was a white Barak Obama. A smooth talking young leader type who has been careful to not create a record that can be used against him. It was going great till he went off script and swung way left pretty much screwing an chance he had to fill the new leader roll. Now hes just a young socialist among middle age and old socialists. Slightly less stinky crap as it were. No dem savior. They are too stupid to even look at recent history.

No matter what happens Trump is a suprising success. I vote for president for one overriding reason, what kind of judges and justices will they appoint. That's it. That's really the only real lasting power the president has any more, frankly all the power executives were intended to have other than managing the government day to day. The real power was intended to be in the house of representatives peroid. Because we are a republic. In the bastardized way things run now the power is essentially abdicated to the judiciary branch thru inaction by the legislature and power grabs by the executive. As much as I would hope judges and justices were impartial protectors of rights and freedoms that's not always the case. Until the people correct this the real power and the reason to vote for president is for what kind of judge and justice appointments are they likely to make. For that reason Trump is the most successful president in recent history. Inspite of the bafoon he is.

The promises kept snowflakes melting liberal heads exploding and the crisis of the PC culture and SJW is all icing on the cake. Rich buttercream icing to be sure. Not bad when I thought Trump was going to be a slightly less disgusting tasting shit sammich than Hillary's warm runny shit sammich. A bite of which we were all going to be forced to take.

    Mmmm tastes like victory!

Bafoon? You may not like his tactics, but that doesn't make him a bafoon. Don't underestimate Trump. He certainly isn't what many may think as presidential, but he isn't anywhere near stupid.

Never said he was stupid. Read the whole post before getting riled up please.

Technically Trump is a buffoon. His face/name is right under the definition in the dictionary.
See: Buffoon; a ridiculous but amusing person; a clown.
synonyms: clown, jester, fool, comic, comedian, wag, wit, merry andrew, harlequin, Punchinello, Pierrot, President Trump.

Please Dont take me wrong. Kinda like when I say My wife's a bitch but I love her to death. I'm not necessarily insulting him you see, just being honest. Hes the most likeable buffoon I have ever seen. I do enjoy watching him work sometimes.

I'm not riled up. It also infers low intelligence. I don't believe he is a clown, he just doesn't sugar coat his responses. People aren't used to politicians not being diplomatic, so when someone comes along that isn't playing the political game it's easier to label them in derogatory terms.

You have obviously allowed the relentless, orchestrated, leftist narrative strategically repeated by by the collusive media and their comrades in entertainment, academia, and the social elite in response to peer pressure and fear of reprisal to cloud your rationality and influence your opinion. This is exactly the way sheep think.....

Methinks the only buffoon on here is the one that doesn't understand how much fun Trump has stirring up the dimocrats. If you read more than MSM you would discover just how much he has accomplished with very little support from his "own?" party. Think what he could have done with the party behind him. In actuality I think the powers that be in the republican party (read professional politicians) are as afraid of him as the Dems. They can't stand someone they can't control and it's been proven they can't control him.

Remember "Drain the Swamp" that included both parties and they are scared.

    Exactly right.

Both parties are scared to death of Trump. He doesn't owe them a damn thing, they have no leverage on him, can't control him.

Trump is not a politician. He wasn't my first choice in the primaries, but the more I watched the more I liked him. If he wins again in 2020 it might well be the death of the professional politicians running for President. I'm pretty sure that there were a lot of people who voted for him because he wasn't a politician.

The "never Trump" wing of the Republican party is getting knocked around pretty hard. That's a good thing.

Regardless of his politics, Trump owns the republican party. Most all those he backed in this last election won, those he didn't, lost. I hope that was made clear to the RINO's.

I don’t think it’s all that clear. The ones who he didn’t back (because they put distance there first) were in districts that his backing probably wouldn’t have helped. They were pretty blue districts historically and likely not filled with the Trump base.

Trumps base is going to vote against the left regardless of Trumps vocal support of a candidate. At the same time, the left is setting record numbers alongside the right because they despise Trump.

Did the right come out in record because of Trump, or because they wanted to make sure lefty wackos didn’t gain control? Probably a mix.

Trump is a hammer that hits both on the downfall and the backswing. His policies are working. And he’s actually got the Rs doing something. At the same time his showmanship is keeping the left in a fever pitch.

I don’t think it’s a real clear cut situation when it comes to who benefited or lost because of Trumps support or lack of.

    Hill Billy; All,

Every leftist should face facts: The DIMocRATS have NOBODY, including Biden, who has a prayer of winning the WH in 2020.
(In point of fact, the DIMs may not even be a "major party" by 2025.)

    yours, satx
So what is the prediction, a splinter party off the left? I think the right is focusing too much on who the next DNC candidate is. Personally, I don't think they have a viable candidate.......yet. They will and if the GOP does nothing but rest on the laurels of this past election (dubious at best), they will be in a world of hurt.

Get in lockstep with DT and watch their approval ratings rise. Continue with a tax plan that benefits all Americans, do away with Ocare, build a wall, shore up election and voting law, have the DOJ actually put former Democrat operatives in prison, and the left would have a hard time next election. The long game is to do away with indoctrination at school and get the media back to reporting facts.
