    Wow. The ignorance.

FWIW - The iVotronic has a well known history as one of the MOST VULNERABLE and has been repeatedly compromised.

    Brains,

And you KNOW that exactly HOW??
Do YOU have ACTUAL experience with the machines?
    OR
Did you just read that somewhere??
(By my calculations, you would need the judges of the DP & the GOP, the pollwatchers & several paid technical staff-members to CONSPIRE to "have a problem".)

Satx mentioned clearing the voting rolls and he is correct. Judicial watch has sued 3 states over that recently. Some counties had over 100% over Cotes compared to those registered to vote in said county.
Dare I say, the right would win more seats if not for voter fraud but if you listen to BHO, there was no smigden of corruption.......

    sharkey,

IF anyone still BELIEVES anything that comes out of ODUMBO's BIG/OPEN mouth, they qualify as a CLUELESS FOOL.

In 2016, some precincts in Philly had more votes cast than the total population of the precincts AND the locals were so well organized that they voted in ALPHABETICAL ORDER.

Thought we would never hear the end of Jill Stein, but her ad nauseum recounts did pay lie to Obummers voter fraud declarations.

I have not personally cracked one, but I'm confident I could if the chance were presented (e.g. controlled non-voting environment where I don't have to risk becoming a felon). A question for you, 78247... Have you personally verified the security of these devices? If you answer yes, I'll probably have about the best laugh of the day I could hope for.

(hint: That would be akin to locking a gun cabinet with a zip tie and proclaiming it's secure because you can't get into it).

It’s about balancing easy, cost, and security. What you want won’t work in BFE West Virginia. Crawl, walk, run, then use public crypto. We are crawling at best. What is “perfect” isn’t going to happen. So let’s focus on what’s better.

    brains,

HOW exactly would you get into one of the machines, given the security measures that are in place??
Sorry but FAR too many people would have to conspire for you bto get access.

Knowing facts keeps you from looking silly.

    Super duper trivial!

Like, easier than to break into than a soda vending machine. On the level of Capt. Crunch whistle trivial.

How? The same way so many people have been conned into sending ridiculous amounts of their own hard earned money to fraudsters in foreign countries. People will believe anything if presented to them convincingly enough. You basically exploit human nature.

    Brains,

In other words, you have NO CLUE on how to do it, given that the important parts are stored, far apart, under lock in 3 different buildings?

In other words, yes I'm very confident I can reverse engineer the product, learn it's vulnerabilities, and then convince someone like you to cheerfully (and unknowingly) provide access some point during an election cycle. It's pretty common knowledge (and easily observed) that election workers aren't the brightest bulbs on the Christmas tree ;) Georgia election server wiped after suit filed

It's frighteningly comical how you think you have it all figured out, and worse how you are eager and willing to outright dismiss someone (me!) who could potentially waltz right in and mess with it right under your nose. This right here, your attitude specifically, exemplifies how hacking is made easy. Hell, the more I poke at you, the more information you provide. The more information you provide, the better map you draw for someone who actually would want to tamper with an election. Here you are, cheerfully opening doors. Is that little lightbulb flickering yet?
