Spraying excrement on public buildings has a long history as a protest tactic in France. It has happened many, many times.
Entertaining, but obviously ineffective if they have to keep doing it. IMO that energy would be better spent on politicians than on inanimate objects.

They seem to have a critical mass of protesters. Can't they less destructively force the recall process to remove the offending politicians? If the political elite hasn't allowed a recall process then they are inviting violence onto themselves.

French is a stupid language anyway. Counting from 70 to 99 is STUPID.
They don't even pronounce a bunch of letters in words (they waste letters!!)
They should all just MIME. (Marcel Marceau)????
You'd like German. No silent letters. Even spaces are frequently eliminated. A black forest cherry cake becomes Schwartzenwaelderkircetorte.

I like languages that make compounded words easy. In English we have those long strings of words with hyphens in between. The Germans (and the Finns, too, I believe) just smoosh everything together. I like that.

Methinks this tactic is ingrained into other aspects of their society.
