Gotta pull apart the transfer case on my bride’s AWD Infiniti rice burner; bearing and/or other rotating assemblies making noise.

    Not a happy camper.

And you're still HIS best friend?

    :green:
LOL, yeah, it was actually worth more. 2007 Ram 3500, diesel, dually, 4 x 4, 6-speed manual with flatbed and LOTS of new parts. Not a scratch or dent anywhere. New upholstery. I've been trying to buy it back. But I'd rather downsize a bit and probably get away from the diesels unless pre DPF and DEF.

Changed the steering rack on our 98 mustang GT. Ford engineers need to be shot. I still have one connection to make and it is one quarter turn flip the wrench and do it again. 30 min per connection.

I didn't have a 98, but they're really not all that different throughout the whole platform series (Fox through New Edge). Where are you having trouble? Heck I put an SN95 tubular AJE K-member in my 87 Notch with an LS1 and only had to weld up a longer steering shaft to fit the factory 87 rack.

I am having trouble with connecting the return hose to the rack. I have had the rack in and out 3 times. I connected the top hose and couldn't get bottom return hose started with the rack out do to the angle etc. I just got wore out lying under the car. I should have it finished today I hope.

Ahh, gotcha. I used AN fittings and braided high pressure lines on mine. Probably made a huge difference in my ease of installation.
