THose things can destroy anything. We just found my wife's prized peach tree chewed in half about 6" from the ground.

Pits love to chew stuff. Mine has about 14 chew toys. But alas, none were outside with her.
My Pittie is broken. In 10 years, I can count on 1 hand the times we came home and found a chewed up napkin or Kleenex. Lots of chew toys and she never hangs on to them when we play tug of war. I like my broken Pittie.

My Red Nose loves to chew. And she is not picky about what. Rawhide, paper, wire bread ties, popsicle sticks 2x4s....but she really loves to play fetch and tug-o-war with her rope. Always know when she is done. She will pull down, lay down and roll over for belly rubs. She will chase a red laser until her feet bleed or bubbles until she drops from exhaustion. I have had to carry her out of the dog park because she was too tired to walk.
Damn dog anyway. She's my sweety.

Thankfully, my puppy has never chewed any shoes.

She has chewed the dining room table, the living room coffee table, 25 rolls of toilet paper, my ice chest, the labels on every pillow on our couch (but not the pillow), corners of several books on my bookshelf (interestingly, none of the bibles), the leg on my desk, my wife's peach tree, my wife's rose bushes, the fender on my 4-wheeler. The list goes on.

Had a black lab that ate the toe out of one shoe in each pair, of five pairs of shoes ... all in one night. Had to wear mismatched shoes to get to the shoe store.

My f.i.l. had a Chocolate lab, that ate everything in the back yard... even the plastic parts on the gas grill.

When he passed my m.i.l. couldn't take care of him so my buddy took him.
After about a month he came home one day & the dog broke out the plastic kennel, broke down the bedroom door, then jumped though the living room window to go out side. My buddy got home & theres ol Rowdy hanging out in the front porch like nothing happened.

While good, our lab had one of those. After she figured out how to take it off, she turned it into chew toy.

She’s never had a problem with the E-collar cone though.

She got it off while it was attached to her regular collar?
That's how they are supposed to work.
