This will be interesting and fun to watch because I think they have a case...sort of.

The Hollywood/entertainment crowd will more than likely get a pass and never be addressed. EXCEPT if they encouraged violence or violation of rights, etc. Then they might have to defend.

The vulnerable here are the hard news media outlets who reported complete falsehoods as fact, and in the course of doing so, tarnished this teenager from top to bottom and harmed him in a way that he can never recover from. Whether that will extend to individuals like Chuck Todd or just the overall editorial departments of the various MSM outlets named is hard to know. Either way, any individual will be more than likely indemnified and defended by legal counsel of who they are employed by in the end anyway. Unless said employer decides to throw one or more under the bus.

But in the end, this is just another shining example of the fake news Trump has been crowing about for three years or more, always garnering eye-rolls and self-proclaimed victimhood from the media elite. And yet another example that what he says is spot on truth. I'm most interested in what their defense will be.

...and I thought j. carey fell off the edge of the earth years ago with his hysterical anti-gun baloney that didn't help his acting career as it appeared he'd retired or been retired by the holly weird crowd.......

What really burned me on this whole thing is that these were kids. Grown adults were treating them as if the kids themselves were adults and they attacked them when it's quite clear that it was the adults attacking the kids. Nick Sandman was just standing his ground with a grown adult beating a drum inches from his face, Nick showed great poise as a kid to not escalate a confrontation, and then more adults send threats and some of them death threats against him and his family. Since when is it okay in America for adults to attack children and threaten their life or their families? And then have a media that downplays that in favor of an adult? I just don't get it.

Kathy Griffin was asking them to be doxxed to further harass the kids & Bill Maher was still bashing the kids even after others found out it wasn't the kids causing trouble. Wonderful human beings those two are.

I'm normally not a big fan of using lawsuits in this manner but in this case I'm not only making an exception, I'm considering sending this guy money to help out with the cause. It was despicable what these people did to those kids, especially when it became clear that the kids were the only ones who actually behaved maturely in the entire situation.

This crap has to stop. It has to. The media has to stop doing this, and these people have to be held accountable. We can't have a country this way.

Comments posted behind the OP link shows some people expecting these kids to be outed as homophobic racists because their devices will be open for scrutiny by filing liable claims. What will never be reported is when nothing is found to prove this. No media outlet will look (dig) into the background of any other "victim" in this story. Not in this age. Only minor chosen protected classes may be called "victim". Certainly not these privileged young men with their silver spoons.

I took the time to watch the 15-minute video. The whatchamacallit Israelites were the ones chanting build the wall. The kids were just standing around waiting for the bus. The kid looks pretty fierce in the video towering over the Native American guy. Actually, he was on a taller step. As far as being blocked in he wasn't. The video pretty much shreds that statement. As far as a lawsuit, I don't know what kind of financial arrangments were made. The statements were made by the media, media, and celebrities. and have been proven false. Each entity or individual named will have to file to be excused from a lawsuit if it is filed. Right now I believe the only action taken had been warning letters. I think some libelous statements were made. So if a suit is filed those folks named in it are going to have to hire lawyers to respond and file legal paperwork unless somebody agrees to represent them pro bono. I don't think that is going to happen. They will have legal expenses.

    gshayd,

TRUST ME, ANY good LIBEL/SLANDER law firm in the USA will jump at the chance to TAKE DOWN the so-called "mainstream media" & W/O cost to the HS boys/families.

The LIKELY Punitive Damages are likely to be TENS of MILLIONS & the lawyers will foot the bill, win the case & take 1/3 to 1/2 of the gross civil damages.

I predict that the trial court will award the boys/families at least a net of 50 MILLION BUCKS.

    yours, satx
