Probably shorter time to drive by the time you hit security & waiting for takeoff...lol

For me too.

Almost as my layover was almost 3 hours but I’d rather wait around for a connecting flight than drive back from Dallas. Flight time from DFW to College Station was 34 minutes, wheels up to touchdown.

You probably spent more time on the taxi. Fun fact; The crews are paid from the time of pushback at the departure airport to the time the wheels are chocked at the destination.

Taxing at DFW is horrible. Depending on runway and gate it can be quite a ride.

Since I had to fly out of state I’d rather fly out of local airport that drive to Houston or DFW and then fly.

Only got exit row on one leg. Sure seemed to get that a lot more when I had a military ID.

I would way rather drive too.

At an old job I was in Kentucky and going home every third weekend. It took 12 hours to fly or drive so I drove it.

Of course I have always driven a lot anyways and like it.
