Or the XD-S .45 4.0.The firearms are the same, comes down to personal preference over Grip and sights; or if your like me and already have night sights and prp trigger components and springs on your bi-tone XDS 45 3.3, then there is no contest.

How heavy is the mod 2 trigger?I'm pretty sure the roll pin on the grip in front of the grip safety is evidence of the new design after the recall. Both mod 1 and mod 2 are great guns. I personally like the mod 2 better. The mod 1 grip texture dug into my fingers on my firing hand. Talon grips solved the issue for me. I, personally, never could shoot that gun particularly well though. Mine had a trigger pull of 8lbs.
Nothing that a little range time couldn't solve.
I did hear some people say the mod 1 trigger is horrible. Is the mod 2 trigger better?

As long as doesn’t say “Grip Zone” you’re good to go.
Meaning?
If you get hung up on the “Grip Zone” logo, do you have all the other branding crap removed from your clothes? Vehicles? Other stuff?
The Mod 2 XD lines are solid striker guns.
