    I just checked their site.

They charge you $3 to sign a liability waiver good for 12 months? That's just dumb.

At least they let you pick up your own brass.

Yeah that is pretty dumb, unless it makes the company money...lol.

I want to say a few years ago when I went to American Shooting Center they charged $5... for a fee

SC sucks. Well that is unless you like getting muzzle swept by gang bangers all the time on the pistol range.
Yet the far right side of the line is completely different, with the only medium-range facilities for rifles within easy driving distance of the city.

It's not enough to get me to go there from where I live in Spring. OTOH, if I lived in the middle of Houston and I did much shooting of centerfire rifles, I imagine I'd pop for a membership of some sort.

It's amazing to me how pretty much every range I've ever been to has something about it that's great and something about it that's just awful. Note: I said "pretty much." Yes, when pressed, I can name places with absolutely no redeeming qualities but that's fodder for another thread.

Their shotgun range isn't too bad either especially with the self pull trap but I'd much rather go to PSC and use my membership.

I'll rephrase, ASC sucks for pistol shooting.

I don’t like ASC at all. I hate the pistol range. I hate getting swept by everyone and their brother. Can’t shoot more than one every 2 seconds.

The rifle range is okay, nothing special. The long range rifle is good. No one to really bother you

Of topic, sort of, re ASC, has anyone ventured north to Conroe to check out clubs/ranges up there?

I met a guy from Utah, bought some mags from him, that shoots up there and somewhere down south of us, three gun type stuff.
