Just wanted to know if anyone else here felt the earthquake Friday 5/15?. Was sitting there watching tv and thought that a huge tree limb had fallen on the house, went to look, but wasn't that. The quake was enough to rattle things pretty good and knock a few items over. Got to searching and it was confirmed, that a 2.2 mag quake did occur 3.7 mile North of Gladewater, which was about 2 miles from my house. A 2.2 is very light, but I live in a mobile home and I think it amplified the effects a bit. So, anyone else feel it?

Not my area but I have felt a ~2 earthquake before. If I wasn't standing with my feet planted I probably would have missed it.

A little weird feeling for sure.

Glad it wasn't worse for you guys.

We used to have frequent quakes in the Azle area (NW of Fort Worth)..up to 3.3 in intensity. Frequent as in 1 every 2-3 days for a few months. It turned out to be related to the injection wells where they injected the water that came out of the gas wells. It lubricated a small fault causing it to slip.

The only earthquake I've ever felt was in bed with my wife.

You perverts!!! We were sleeping in Amarillo and the pictures started rattling on the walls.

Living in Washington and Oregon, unless it's up around 4.0 or better, meh. Of course when I was young living in California as a child, we noticed the days without an earthquake.
