    Today is my birthday.

My wife gave me a gift - with a "top up provision" should I want it. It is a gift card to spend here.

I had never heard of them before even though they are only about a one hour drive from where my mother in law lives. Has anyone here ever been there or know somebody who has I would be interested to know. The Leopard is likely to be out of my price range but the BMP and Half Track are within it, as is the Scorpion (though I have ridden in one of those during my former career.

A friend of mine did that a couple of years ago. Him and another friend went and drove and shot one of the Sherman's. If you get one the subject, it's hard it's hard to stop talking about how awesome it was. He showed me a video of firing. They were outside the tank and pulled a cord. There was some issue that didn't allow firing from inside. I'm not sure if it was just the one Sherman or all of the tanks.

We did that on a charge 7 white bag and on nuke rounds. But kinda doubt that’s what they were doing.... but ya never know. Lol. Jk that was red leggin days.

They answer that in the FAQ on their web site. The main reason they claim is safety - That they are shooting full power loads out of old guns and any failure would be bad for anyone inside the turret. I suspect they may be more concerned about clumsy amateurs allowing parts of their body to get in the way of recoiling gun parts. They also state that hearing the gun fire inside the turret is a bit underwhelming, that you need to be standing next to the vehicle to appreciate the awesomeness.

P.S. Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes
