Anyone else here from the 281/Bitters area? I'm in the Hidden Forest subdivision. Would be nice to find a neighbor nearby who is interested in guns ... the ones immediately around me are not, as far as I can tell.

I use to live off blanco and bitters. I'm near 281 and overlook parkway now. Is that close enough?

Sure! Where is Overlook? What range do you usually go to? I was going to Dietz for a long while ... switched to Cedar Ridge for the last year or two.

It's in timberwook park, north of stone oak. How do you like those 2 ranges. I have been looking for an outdoor range to shoot rifles and shotguns.

They are both great for rifle. I have not been to Dietz in a couple of years ... their handgun setup was a bit odd. They just had one large bay with 10 or so target stands. The first person on range determines the range everyone will be shooting at and everyone lines up with them. You all walk downrange.

Definitely will not be going there with pistols.

Use to live in your area, but still shoot at Cedar if I get the opportunity.

LOL!! I bet my neighbors have no idea what they live next to.
Mine know exactly what they live next to, and there’s a wide range to their reactions and feelings about it. Some discuss guns and gun builds with me, while others stare at my OC’d pistol when they see me working around the house or on the mower or tractor.

Yeah, it just seems like we all spend a lot more time indoors now than everyone did when I was growing up in the '70s and '80s. Not as much neighborhood interaction.
