A while back there was a video posted of some guy claiming the pressure wave from a BMM round popped a deers eyes out without hitting it. And everyone has heard about how if you use a .50 for hunting it will destroy all the meat.

I got to test it out over the weekend hunting some extremely dangerous game. I had my fully automatic bolt action .50 BMG with single shot magazine in order to insure we could take these beasts down.

I notice the bloodthirsty creature coming through the cut stalks of a grain field. Obviously stalking us am intending to make us his prey. Range was approx 75 yards. Way too close for comfort. Luckily I was able to quickly acquire him in the sights and bring him down before anyone was attacked.

If it had been a .50 BMG, you might be telling a different story.
    Those BMM are notoriously weak.

A 223 rifle must have way more power. They will destroy small game and blow them into pieces.

That 50 looks like shot placement was the only thing that saved Younggun.

Looks like the rabbit bled out.

    Out here by the lake!
Buddy of mine took an African Wild Cat with his .500 Nitro Express. We were coming in@ night riding in the back of the truck. The driver noticed it & stopped the P. H. riding in back with the beer & us points it out. I was seated on the right my buddy to my left. I grab my rifle & think where the muzzle is in regards to my buddy & the P.H.. While still looking thru the scope my buddy touches one off on it. The bullet hit the ground rift @ it's belly & frags the cat with gravel bullet fragments. The cat actually flew a couple of feet.

Scoff if you will about rabbits, but jimma cah-ta was once attacked by a fearsome/attack rabbit. It skeered him.

It was major news back when the (the worst ever) laughable peanut farmer leftist President was in office...until o. the markist was elected and took the number one spot as the worst President ever, but I digress.....

Ya gotta know ya history to what to be on the look out fer.....attacking rabbits ain't no joke.....oh btw, cah-ta respected and honored castro and chavez - found them legit and their people's complaints.....were bogus....them two wuz good people....uh-huh....

If I recall correctly, the killer rabbit went on a national tour?

Carter, when president, was probably one of the better men to have been in that office. But he was a poor president.

Then as he got older, he began to suffer - I believe - from dementia. His advocacy of Chavez, etc. is out of line from his earlier stances(even though he was a Democrat). I think he quite literally lost his mind about 20 years ago.

I've read a substantial amount of history regarding this fraud as President. His S.S. agents hated his P.R. nonsense. He, like the clintons, treated them like dirt...that's one indicator of him not what he'd like the American public to think him. He was an utter fraud.

He projected humility while possessing none.

He was a giant turd in the American Presidential punch bowl.

    Dementia?

This monster isn't Ronald Reagan, who sadly actually had a form of dementia.

His elderly status doesn't confer anything positive about him.

Being an old leftist is just that........

I have looked in to various .510 bullets made to expand. Most wouldn’t expand on a rabbit and others such as the Lehigh 500gr fragmenting bullet are designed for subsonic use only and would come apart above 1,400fps. Not something I want to happen in a large muzzle brake.

Gonna keep searching. Maybe Hornady will make a .510 Vmax some day and I can try to get at least 5,000ft/lbs of energy to transfer.
