Wish I had time to read more books. These are the only ones I've read.

    Trapped in death cave.

    The wolf's hour.

    Green mile

    A prayer for owen meany
Green Mile was a good read.

If you make some time, try "Into Thin Air" by Krakauer. It really gives you an idea of what it must be like to climb Everest (and I have no desire to do so). It also chronicles that fateful climb when something like 11 were lost.

Hope that's the one in Texas. The one built on quicksand has been getting a LOT of rain and flooding here lately. Pack yer goulashes.

Know almost exactly where it is. Been a bit since I went by there though. Enjoy the sights while you're up there. Truth be told, I need to go up there in the next year or two and see some kin and old friends.

My former boss lives in Ohio and works for Lincoln Electric, some of the training I will get will probably be from him. I'll be staying at his house, the pictures looks like it's a mansion.

The last book I read was Never Split the Difference: Negotiating as if your Life Depended on It

It’s a book on negotiating, written by the former FBI top hostage negotiator.

I was surprised how much negotiation goes on in our everyday lives.
Definitely a good read, I’ve circled-back to read (listen, actually) it again.

It’s crazy because the shit actually works.

Before that, the book I just finished was written by Annie Duke, former scholar, who turned pro poker player, but is now back into academia.

It’s called Thinking in Bets: Making Smarter Decisions When You Don’t Have All the Facts.

Putting a wagering spin on things makes it a fascinating read.

    Both highly recommended

Just got done reading '13 HOURS...' -By Michell Zuckoff - Quite an interesting read.

Started reading 'Going Home' - by A. American - Pretty good so far (about 1/4 through), thinking I could easily end up reading all, of however many, are in the series.

Previous to those, I Finally got a copy of 'The Federalist Papers' to read.

    Various other light reading stuff.

Three of my top five books of all time:

"Empire of the Summer Moon" by S.C. Gwynn. The story of Quanah Parker and the rise and fall of the Comanches. Absolutely riveting book that I stumbled on by accident. I was an an airport and needed something to read on the flight. Took a chance on this one, and I was hooked by Page 5. There is no SJW bash-America crap in it. It pulls no punches on the cruelty of the whites against the Comanches, the Comanches against the whites, and the Indian tribes against each other.

"Seabiscuit" by Laura Hillenbrand. Yes, the movie was pretty good, but this book is fantastic. You will fall completely in love with that unlikely champion race horse.

"Gates of Fire: An Epic Novel of the Battle of Thermopylae" by Stephen Pressfield. Of course it's fiction, but it makes you feel like it happened just that way. An addicting book, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

    Three recent reads:

Issac Newton by author James Gleick.
What an amazing mind Newton had.

Leonardo da Vinci by Walter Isaacson
    Issacson is an awesome biographer.

Mornings on Horseback by David McCullough
    Teddy Roosevelt bio.
Starts slow. Great man TR was.

As you might surmise I'm a fan of biographies of great men.

I'm reading Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann right now. Fascinating recounting of the murders of wealthy Osage Indians in Oklahoma in the 1920s & the FBI investigation. The writing style is not my favorite but the true story is very intersting & sad.
