Born and raised in Gig Harbor south of Seattle. Moved to SA to be around family and more important, sunshine!
Trying to find a good spot to unload two 30-06's. I have a few 308's that I have been using since i was a kid and only used the 30-06 for elk and bigger game.
Which I will no longer be hunting =(

There are elk and bigger in Texas. It's just going to cost you more.
I have seen the elk in Texas, size of a small Washington State deer. I would never knock Texas but game is much smaller here which is why I don't need the 30-06's.
Thanks for the welcomes everyone as I will need all the info I can get.

Well, if by unload, you mean sell, you can do it here.

Welcome from another native born Washingtonian and now born again Texan!

Not sure what would be better to say to native Texans, south of Seattle or west of Tacoma. They would probably squint their eyes and grit their teeth a bit for each.

Did a tour in Spokane. Loved the inland empire. Hated the politics, but the country was some of the best. Welcome

Welcome! Hunting season is fixin' to get in full swing in just a few months, so you should be able to find a buyer pretty readily. Just remember one thing - 3-500 yard shots aren't uncommon in this state - that 30-06 could be handy.
