Just went through this whole thread.

Lots of different thoughts on sizes. What kinds of clothes do folks wear? I saw Wranglers and shorts mentioned but even that is vague. Do the pistols look like keys or something in your pocket? Would a fellow fun guy recognize what it is?

I wear Wrangler 20X jeans at work and George Strait Wranglers in my off time. I have a hard time imagining many of these to work.

    Big Green,

These days, since I'm retired now, I usually wear golf shirts with trousers of some sort & boat shoes, 3 seasons a year.
(Winter means a sweater and/or light jacket.)

I have NO trouble concealing my Sig-Sauer P225 in the belt holster.
(In point of fact, a friend who is a Bexar County Constable picked me up for lunch last week & over lunch said, "Tex, I cannot believe that you're not carrying a firearm."
I said, "I am." - He said, "A Deringer?" - I said, "Nope, my 9mm."- He said, "I can't see it. Is it on your ankle?" - "It's holstered on my belt", said I.)

Fyi, a long/untucked golf shirt covers a multitude of sins.

I don't really have a dress code at work, so I wear same day in, day out. Usually some Levi relaxed jeans or vortx defender jeans, a 2XL tall undershirt and a t-shirt or polo over that. My pps prints a little bit because the holster I have I can only comfortably wear at 3-4 o'clock, but my p938 and p226 don't print at all

5.11 TacLite Pro pants are perfect: light fabric, loose cut, roomy in the crotch, deeeeeeep pockets, a lanyard ring for my badge, and they still look slightly dressy. Nobody knows the IT guy is carrying.

I wear the 5.11s also. Great pants for all the reasons above. Untucked shirt covers all depending on how loose it is. IWB pretty much anything. I carry a G19X most days. Shorts, 5.11 also, I usually carry my G43X. Quick trip to the store and/or around the house in sports shorts a Ruger LCP 2 in a pocket holster.(good for back pocket on jeans too) ALSO if I have to dress up or tuck my shirt I usually use a Galco King Tuk OR if I have to really dress up, which is rare, I use a 5.11 holster shirt and carry the G43X.

Sorry, G23. I had the 43x on the brain I guess. Anyhow, what holster do you use for that?

My IWB is a Garrett Industries "silent thunder".
The OWB is Tucker Gun Leather, HF1 or HF2, can't recall at the moment.
Both these holster also fit my VP40, and my PPQ M2.

You kinda answered your own question. Not being country, I have no idea what George Strait Wranglers are but I have a guess and yep, hard to shove a gun down the front of that pocket. You dress around your gun.
Would a gun guy recognize it. Maybe, maybe not.

We all have different builds and different environments we live in so what works for one might not work for another. That said, I still think the Kahr CW380 is an awesome choice for a pocket gun. Deep concealment might mean something else but I take it to generally mean it is going to take longer to get to that gun.

The Wranglers I wear are the cargos. My P365 goes in the right front (normal) pocket. Keys are in the cargo right side pocket. Most pistols or revolvers bulge and sag the cargo pockets. I do use the left cargo fo a second mag. No one has ever made any comment or observation. Since I live in TX I don't worry about printing anyway. Just what works for me.

When wearing normal jeans, it’s a P365 in a sticky holster in the front pocket. When wearing cargo pants its the P365 in a leather holster in the right side cargo pocket. The holster is large enough to keep it from rolling over in the pocket, so its always easy to grab. The holster also has a rigid leather panel on the back so it doesn’t imprint on the pocket.

I wear relaxed-fit Wranglers. My PF9 in a pocket holster looks like a wallet or cellphone in my pocket, and so far nobody has noticed it even though I carry at work every day. A fellow "gun guy" might pick out the vague shape and figure something's up, but the general public is oblivious.

    General Zod,

Pardon me for saying that most of the general public is just plain OBLIVIOUS about every subject.

The Tomcats had horrible triggers was the reason I never bought one.
I have two and the trigger on both are excellent. They are the sweetest shooting micro gun I've tried.

I see a lot of mentions for the micro SA 1911 types. What condition do you carry those in a pocket?
There's only one way to carry a 1911 style pistol.

Most often "slimmer" fit cargo pants. It just looks like a cell phone or big wallet. Cargo shorts are the same.

With suit pants it actually disappears better when standing, yet prints more when sitting. A gun guy might notice, but I doubt anyone else would.

A lot of it has to do with your body type and how well your clothes fit.

I guess I dry fired some bad ones.

I am assuming you mean cocked and locked? That is how I carried my duty gun and hence my question. I would never carry SA in a pocket but hey to each his own.
