Yea Buddy! Their gonna pass something alright. Another piece of worthless legislation that will do nothing to prevent bat ass crazy people from shooting someone.
But it’s a good first step.
Then after the next tragedy they will need to pass another law and another. That’s how we get to 10,000 useless gun laws on the books and no solution about how to keep them out of the hands of psychopaths. How about lock up the psychopaths instead of banning guns.

The purpose of the Senate is precisely to not ‘just pass something’. McConnell should know better.
    He does.

As much crap as McConnell deservedly gets, this is where he shines. He's a master at killing legislation. Sometimes that's good and sometimes that's bad, but it's what he does well. If Trump can quit babbling about background checks for a few weeks, McConnell will quietly kill this stuff or at least the worst of it.

I’d like to believe that, but to use the man’s own words,

"What we can't do is fail to pass something," McConnell said. "What I want to see here is an outcome."

I think we can kill 2 birds with one stone - Protesters were literally at his house chanting - stab the MF'er in the heart.

What is the harm to citizen's if that played out. Liberty has victims too.

Must've pissed him off pretty well.

He said "No" (this morning???) to entertaining the thought of calling everyone back to consider that Bill.

Heard a blurb on the radio about it. Wasnt clear whether it was no to calling them back, no to consideration, or no to the whole thing.

Well Twitter showed him. They locked his account when he posted what the protesters were chanting. The whole US has gone absolutely mad. What is a poor conservative to do that is just trying to live and thrive. We get it from the left. We get it from Silicon Valley. We get it from the GOP. People just need to do their job and if you took an oath, honor it but now I am just asking for too much

He is more than willing to give up someone else's rights as he and the majority of others in the Senate and House believe the laws are for the people and not them.
