    Out here by the lake!
Only time I ever ate Bill Miller's, I watched what looked like the cops take out a criminal in the parking lot. Blocking vehicle, back up & the 3 guys who cleared the vehicle. My buddy driving missed it completely.

Those at the BBQ are the minority in SA. Sure most in SA love commie Castro

I might have bought Bill Miller's bbq to send a message to Castro, but I have to admit I would have thrown it in a trash bin on the way home.
I ate there for lunch one day last week solely because of Castro's jackassery. I hadn't been in many years and now I remember why. It was not good. It was horrible, actually.

The place is always crowded though, so somebody must like it. I hear the fried chicken is good, and the breakfast tacos. But the bbq is turr-bull.

Yep. The bbq is borderline inedible. But the Miller family are good folks.

No Bill Miller's in Houston. I hope you all support him; however, we've got plenty of good brisket hereabouts, so no BM needed here.

Their breakfast tacos are good, as is their fried chicken and sausage. Pies are pretty good too.

Sweet tea is good, albeit I mix mine half unsweetened.

During Lent, they are a nice fried cod on Fridays.

They also have a seafood chain called Laguna Madre, which has some decent fish tacos and fried cod.

Again, not much of a meat eater these days, but once in a while, I indulge.

They have lots of good food. And the brisket is fair to good most of the time. What we have found is that some of their stores are better than others. The one out in Castroville is excellent; we have only had good meals there. There's a couple in SA that we don't go back to much. They even messed up the peach cobbler. But, in general, still one of my favorites in the area.
Is their brisket the best? Probably not, as there are some wizards in this area. But think about it this way: how many do you think they have cooked, over time and the number of stores they have. They must have a winning recipe dialed in.

Never have heard anyone accuse BM of having decent brisket before.

They cook all their food in a factory in downtown SA, then truck it to the stores.
