I have long wondered if it could happen or more when it will happen. Our current system of moochers electing looters who steal from producers can only work so long. Many people will get tired of having what their ancestors worked hard ( not just labor but management) built destroyed by political correctness.

Illegal immigration, anchor baby citizenship combined with very high reproduction rates ( often subsidized by the taxpayer) is how california became deep blue and is why liberals are like a kid looking at a sundae about to eat it rubbing both hands together about demographics changes in texas ( no defense for it but see el paso shooting). You also have immigrants who will not assimilate and really want to come here and turn our nation into the ones they are fleeing. mutliculturalism combined with political correctness will be the cause of this conflict. They think we fought over slaves wait till they try to take guns.

There have been various scenarios floated. We all know white liberals run the liberals. The foot soldiers will be the thugs in the major cities. I would put a farm boy with a rifle up against 5 gang bangers with one hand on their junk holding a glock sideways. After them what really we have is one group that has most of the guns, most of the ammo, goes to the target range, hunts, fishes and camps. The other side still does not understand that borders are not meant to be crossed and that boys have a penis and girls have vagina.

California is an example of a society where elites are more concerned about opening up to the illegal migration at the expense of the middle working class. They live in their ivory towers without having to worry about what they need to sustain their existence, while driving out those that have supported their existence.

Like it or not, it's the middle working class that sustains the countries economy and they can only be pushed so far before it all comes crashing down. The U.S. can't support the world at the expense of Americans before they start screaming "Enough!" If the elites don't come to realize this, they will be brought down by those they have disdained.

    Gunz are icky.
California, where you either have to be incredibly wealthy or incredibly poor to get by.

    This has always puzzled me.
How do people afford to live there that aren't wealthy?
Do they just not pay rent?
I'd think rent would be way past $1000+ a month anywhere in one of the So.Cal. cities?
House notes would be 3x that no?
And that is just the housing.
Transportation surely costs more than here.
Taxes are nuts so that has to be paid as well.
Is it that crazy out in the more rural eastern California?
    What about northern Cali.?
I hear that area is practically Night of the Living Dead with all the methbillies?
    Any truth to that?

    CA.
Where you can make $300k/year but can only afford to rent a home.

This isn’t even in a nice area...close to a million bucks in a shitty part of LA.

The middle class barely gets by either with a lower standard of living or by going into debt. Lower income folks get government assistance. They live very far from work where the housing is "cheaper" and commute for hours or live in a crime infested city with awful schools.

When I lived in the Bay Area, we had to buy in an area somewhat in the middle of nowhere by Bay Area standards. It was a nice town but the commute to work in the San Francisco or Oakland area would probably take 2 hours each way if not longer some days. A lot of people did that drive too. I was fortunate in that I worked from home so we could do it.

Even then our house was almost $400,000 for a small house built in 1959 with a small yard. Nothing was out of date and it was expensive to heat or cool. In the winter our combined gas and power bill could hit $400 if not higher. As a result, we didn't use the heater much and wore a lot of sweaters. Everything was expensive like that. Gasoline, car registration, bridge tolls, food, etc etc.

We didn't have much in the way of savings and barely ate out, took vacations, etc. We didn't want to carry debt so we lived within our means. I was making a very good income by national standards but we felt poor.

When we moved back to Texas, we sold our house for well over $400,000, bought a big new construction home with a yard. Our house payment was a bit less than in CA but we had the bonus of no state income tax.

s it that crazy out in the more rural eastern California?

Not as bad but wages are much lower and there are fewer employment opportunities. And you're still paying state income tax and expensive power and gas. And PG&E might end up catching 1,000 acres on fire near you. Then PG&E will pass their billions in legal bills on to you in the form of rate hikes.

    What about northern Cali.?

Beautiful area geographically but yes, meth is a major problem in those areas. Not to mention the marijuana grow ops in the Emerald Triangle.

Another random thought....once upon a time I wanted to be a cop in California. This was before the thought of moving to Texas was a twinkle in my eye. Sure as hell glad on multiple fronts that didn't happen.

In San Diego my mother pays $1400/mo for a one bedroom apartment supposedly rent controlled.

My Aunt has a 50 year old 3 bedroom house that is valued at 1.1 million, however it does overlook the bay. That house would be less than $100K here.

That’s just too high a price to pay for good weather.

Imagine if it were people on the right making those threats in the first story.

Imagine if it were people on the right saying they were going to stop a planned parenthood rally using violence.

Only criminals cover their faces. You'll note the so called "right wing extremists" aren't wearing masks. I still have contacts in Portland. Once of which is very "right wing". He has been around some of these clashes and it's always those on the left, behind their masks, that start the shit. Of course they know their fellow traveler in the mayor's office has handcuffed the police. My friend tells me the police only get involved when those on the right start to protect themselves.

The cowards who hide their faces think they can win a battle. They are sadly mistaken. If push comes to shove those masked idiots are going to learn about real life very quickly.

I'm damn glad I moved out of Portland.

S.D. has a crazy, drugged out population problem, but it sounds compassionate to call it a 'homeless' problem.

Call in the military cuz these zombies aren't going away without a little motivation...

I think that the civil war will start next year. Because, look how crazy the left is already since Trump was elected. And they will be even more Batsh#t Crazy during the presidential election, especially when they realize that their candidate, whoever it is, is going to lose and lose badly. I predict that they will go from outrageous protests to violence next year before election day. After enough violence directed at Trump supporters, some will have had enough and retaliate.

If Lucifer ever calls in Ruth Vader Ginsberg's chit and President Trump gets to nominate a third SCJ I really think that might bring us to open warfare.

    Just read,
    • If you owe the IRS more than $52,000 in overdue taxes, you may not be able to get a new passport or renew your existing one — or it might simply be revoked, whether you’re home or abroad.
    • The IRS has notified more than 400,000 taxpayers that their passports are at risk since the program began.
That's 20B$ folks, pay up. The 1800$/month you owe for national debt.
Or move to Denmark -free stuff and 74% tax rate!
So - retail is down, autos is down farming is down, what's the problem? no $ to buy anything so when hunger abounds people get nasty.
