You do know "FUD" is mainly used in advertising as a form of propaganda right?

Yeah, I'm aware of it's IBM origins and use as a sales tool. I mean it as a literal application of the phrase, Fear - Uncertainty - Doubt. I was trying to be polite and avoid offense. There are harsher appropriate terms available.

Too many people live their lives in fear of freedoms they have or, conversely, in fear of the government (the arbiter of freedoms they don't have). Philosophically, the first gives rise to the second. Too many people put their faith in fedguv, and not God. Too many, having been raised in the nanny state, look first to the fedguv for permission. It requires a special kind of love for the nanny fedguv to subject oneself to laws and/or speculate about consequences that don't exist. You see this associated mostly with the concepts of law (government), and religion. Unnecessary rules/regulations/laws/requirements that not even the fedguv or God saw fit to require are cherished, by those doling them out, as a source of power over weak men.

Use the mind God gave you to make the decisions about what is right for you and your family. God put CBD (and, incidentally, every substance on drug schedules 1-5) on the planet for men to use judiciously. I don't need the fedguv to tell me what/when/where/how/how much or how often. Those impediments put in place by fedguv I'll attempt to shrug off. Those put in place by God I will abide, to my ability. I sure don't intend to seek out and add impediments that haven't already been imposed. And I'll call it FUD, or something less polite, when I see it.

I have not used CBD oil yet, but I am really considering giving it a try. Heard lots of testimonies on how it's really helping folks, but honestly, the results I can absolutely attest to are the ones I see every day from my 5 year old, 66 lbs male lab pointer mix.

My pup has has two torn ACL's for a couple years. I've had three vets tell me how he needed surgery on both knees. The surgery costs were not cheap, but the real show-stopper for me has been two-fold...the recover process my wife and I would have to deal with (we are both at work 12 hours per day) and the fact that this could recur at any time (possibility) since he's supposedly prone to this for whatever reason.

So we kept him from running, limited walks, and used anti-inflammatories. I also feed him grain free food with dinovite and joint supplements. All would help until he'd see some deer through the fence, take off running, and come back limping for the next three days.

Finally, I find a vet who, after I tell her surgery is off the table, suggests CBD Oil and a Boswellia supplement. After a few days of 4 drops CBD oil and a couple supplement tablets (at breakfast on top of everything else he had always got), he stopped limping. A few days later, he's leaping on and off the high side of our patio, a 30 inch vertical jump and something he ad not done in a long time (he'd always used the stairs). He chases deer and roadrunners up and down our fence line, and I have not see him limp since he began taking the CBD oil.

We got our CBD oil from our vet, but at $105 a bottle, my next bottle will come from OnDutyCBD.com

    https://ondutycbd.com/collections/all-products/products/pure-pets

This is the Boswellia/joint tablets I give:

    https://smile.amazon.com/Precious-All-Natural-Joint-Dogs/dp/B06WVFGYSP/ref=sr_1_3?crid=EBBNU1LTY0PR&keywords=precious+paws-+all+natural+hip+&+joint+supplement+for+dogs&qid=1565827194&s=gateway&sprefix=precious+paws+hip,aps,154&sr=8-3

So I'm going to look into the link posted above, but I am pretty much set to go with OnDutyCBD when I try it. It is 100% made in the USA, and every lot is indepentently tested and lab results are posted. And they make a THC-Free product that I will probably use since I really don't want to press my luck in case of a piss test:

YMMV...I'll let you know when I give it a try.

That’s some really good info, thanks for sharing!

CBD is only approved by the FDA for some rare childhood maladies. It has never been clinically tested for pain, indigestion, and whatever else the claims are.

It is also still a Federal Schedule 1 prohibited substance.

I own firearms, have an LTC, a pilot license, and an FAA medical. All are at risk if I touch the stuff. I'll pass.

Just remember God also put poisonous snakes, spiders, fish etc on earth. Not everything he put here is meant to be played with.

According to Austin, the police have no in house way to test for the amount of THC so they are letting them go if its hemp. Says the testing may have to be outsourced.

Actually, Bexar, and it wouldn't surprise me if Travis county as well, are giving a pass on small amounts of not just hemp but MJ as well.

Bexar County DA said...“The governor’s letter has no effect on our decision not to prosecute misdemeanor marijuana cases. In our opinion, we are still bound by the rules of evidence which require us to prove possession of marijuana beyond a reasonable doubt in trial."

However, as stated in my previous post, Guadalupe county is arresting everyone for everything including CBD and will be holding those charges to at least the end of the year in hopes of a way to test the stuff themselves or at least not by an outside contractor.

However, looks like something is in the works for 2020...

According to a cursory search and correct me if i am wrong, but the clock on a speedy trial doesn't start at arrest. The guy arrested in Guadalupe was arrested, released and charges are pending. At this point the prosecutor has until the statute of limitations on the charge to file charges with the court.

Be careful with that 'speedy trial'. Speedy is relative, and you will spend a long time in jail before trial or spend a fortune (and stay in jail) on a Federal H-Corpus action to get you out on bail.

You cannot beat the lawyer / judge / legal bar cartel.

No, not an atty. But any will explain it to you.
You've probably seen that guy Dershowitz on TV a lot recently. Read his first book from 30 so years ago for an education on speedy trial issues and the discussion of his arrest.
