Interestingly, ~30 yrs ago Orlando (& other Fl towns) had a vagrant problem. Put them in jail with water and bread for a few weeks, then they left for other places (Ca?). Long long time ago they used 'orphan' trains to disburse them to the west, used as farm labor, few were actually adopted. Nothing new under the sun.

Notice how Miss Aguilar is reported to have put up a sign saying "We are worth a solution" and quoted a saying she is motivated but nothing indicates that she believes her finding gainful employment and supporting herself is the solution she is seeking. Typical mindset of a bum, in my opinion, a liberal one at that. Of course, maybe the leftist media simply neglected to report that but somehow it did not fail to report that she seemingly believes herself ready to find a place to live like tent or an automobile or a condominium or a studio apartment and that she believes security is owed to her kind. I wonder who does she think will pay for it - her or us? (And yes that was a rhetorical question.)

And we're still paying for it....
Yep. But they will not be a danger to the public at large.

There are hundreds, if not thousands of assaults committed by Austin’s urban outdoorsmen. Most are just a report and a case number if that unless it rises to felony assault( aggravated)

Don’t really care where they go, they just need to go.

They should be offered painless 'euthanasia'.

If the offer is refused than put em on a chain gang for an indefinite time period with days old bread and warm tap water to keep them fed and watered.

The lady interviewed in the article says they need safety, a safe place to stay, like a car, condo, studio, or motel. She's been living in a tent in a homeless camp and now safety is a concern?
When will these idiots get the message that no one owes you a roof over your head? It's a cold, cruel world . . . and adulting is tough. The FreeShîtArmy can kiss my ass.

IDGAF. Who out there is worrying whether I have a roof over my head? Or whether you have a roof over your head? There is no magic spell that makes the government have to be responsible for what you are supposed do for yourself.

I'm not arguing for their side, just being realistic.
Austin moves them out, then what?
    Who gets stuck with them?

And I know, you don't give a flip....

No, you don't get it--this is a free country. It's not the business of a government to tell people where to go or where they can live . . . but it's most certainly the business of a government to tell people where they CAN'T live. Those folks need to move along . . .
