Boudin is like moms mom's spaghetti IMHO, everyone likes it their way. How do you prefer your boudin? I cover 50k miles of pipelines in the USA, I mention that because I travel a LOT and I am in Louisiana every 4-6 weeks...I can make a boudin run and bring back a cooler full of frozen links. I'm in Port Arthur monday morning to perform an API compliance audit, Market Basket actually has a pretty solid smoked boudin that can be had frozen from most of their stores. You'd have to come get it from my house in Pasadena though. Saucier's in humble is pretty flipping good for local boudin, again IMHO.

    To All,

What I wish for is a place in San Antonio that has real WHITE BOUDIN, like we used to buy in Marathon, when I worked there & went to grad school at Tulane.

NONE here that's fit for man nor beast, that I've found.

    yours, satx

    Jetcycles,

In the event that you ever need to come to the Alamo City for work, I'll reward you for bringing me boudin with showing you & feeding you at the best "hole in the wall" places for fresh fish, Tex-Mex & "made from scratch" Chinese around here.

Btw, arguments over who has THE BEST Tex-Mex food in San Antonio has started more ugly brawls than adultery. = Folks here are SERIOUS about Tex-Mex.

    yours, satx
