mad88minute. I can help out with that intercept issue. Just have all your packages shipped to me. I will unbox, take inventory and function test your purchases. I will let you know when you will need to reorder and ship to me again. Together we will fight the dark side of wife disapproval.
I'll take my chances with the old lady.

Ahhh, that is why I have a ups store box. I get shipments from ups, fedex, and usps there and the wife never knows. I don’t have to worry about being home to get things. The boxes of bulk bullets or ammo get their attention due to weight.
If I had this problem often I have to do this.

The old lady is ok with the standard flow of boxes, but I got a little carried away last weekend.

Bought an MDT chassis on sale, a PSA KS 47 upper I've been drooling over, and I got a nice package of knickknacks from Primary arms coming.

That she might raise an eyebrow to.

The sad thing is, I think I have almost every gun that was on my wishlist. I'm at the point where I just bought a Glock 43 frame in FDE and now trying to make up my mind if I want to put a 43, 43x or 48 slide on it, just to mess around. I can't think of any gun that I need to add to my pile, even got some oddballs out of the way that I've been chasing for years. And with every paycheck, I'm adding some more ammo.

I've been there. And it slowly went away.

I feel like I'm almost there again. It won't last.

I remember when I had an 870 12 ga, a Beretta 92fs, and a Russian SKS in my 10 gun sentry safe and I was very content.

Getting divorced was the best thing I ever did. Now I buy what I want when I want. Problem is it's never enough. I think I spend close to $1k a month on guns and related items. Much cheaper than keeping her around.

Not exactly a panic buy but I am getting low on 9mm with about only 2,500 rounds in my on hand supply so I just ordered a case of PMC Bronze 115 grain FMJ 9mm from Target Sports USA. Pretty decent price of $156.22 shipped and I forgot to remove the extra $2.27 they charge for shipping insurance which would have made it an even better deal. That is the Target Sports USA prime membership price, I think the non-member price is $169.80 shipped but that is without the insurance. I stopped at the Dallas Arms Collectors Association gun show at Market Center in Dallas this past Saturday with my son, they did not have anything close in price that I saw; although, I must say - nice show (much better than the one in Texarkana we attended on friday). Wish I had sold a gun to be able to afford to buy one or two I saw there.

My next ammo purchase will probably be 500 to 1K rounds of 45 ACP and 500 rounds of 7.62x54R. That will either be next month for one and the following month for the other or maybe both when I sell a gun, whichever comes first.

I see a lot of "don't want the wife to know" stuff. Might be bigger issues there that need to be addressed. Been married for quite a few years and never had to sweat something I bought/ordered.

    Good grief.....

My wife never said a thing about guns or ammo I bought before we separated. There may have been a reason for that - I made a pretty good salary even considering we lived in Nassau County, NY. Yet I think, I can fully understand some spouses not being as easy going when the other half is buying guns and ammo every month in circumstances where money may be somewhat more on the tight side. Most of the talk though, when finances are good or better, about hoping the wife does not find out though is probably just that - talk and on the light side at that.

My wife has her money and hobbies, I have mine. I don't comment on hers and she doesn't comment on mine. Bills are split, I pay 2/3 and she pays the rest. What there are of them anyway.

My wife is very understanding when it comes to my hobbies.

The problem is she dosent really have any expensive hobbies. And she is tighter than Dave Ramsey himself.

We save 20+% and give a full 10% in tithing. And live comfortably on the rest, so I am justified in my hobbies.

One package down 2 to go BTW.
