    Poor buzzards.

Well, they're not on Twitter so I guess it's OK to do them dirty since they can't shame me for it.
But they will launch a woke crow boycott that shames other crows n buzzards into not eating you. Frakin libtards are everywhere. Crow lives matter.

    What does 'rage quit' mean?

I can guess, but not certain I'm guessing correctly...

    Anyone?
    Its a reasonable question.

It seems to me, the way the mods think here, that if you come into a conversation all riled up and cussin and fightin, thats one thing.

But when you come in and start singling people out with incivilities such as cursing them or degrading them, you have certainly crossed that thin red line at that point....:green:

Im sure there are some mod type rules and regs that govern but thats probably the P's and Q's of it.

When someone is ranting, angry, and univil in language and tone, they may cross a line where they declare that they're "outta here". That's a rage quit. I'm happy to show them the door.

In the instant case, the actual rage quit text was "Adios dickwads" and is quoted in post #28. While I didn't do the ban, if I had seen it first I would have.

Note that in the post immediately following that one, Cam called it as a rage quit.

I don't see it that way. I see it as a self centered narcissist who can't cope with life and wants to make a final F U. To everyone.

I've known several military buddies who took that unfortunate route. The circumstances are still suspect for a few as they didn't appear to have any reason to do so, but many people harbor demons that aren't visible to the rest of us. Anyone who reaches that point where they commit suicide aren't thinking rationally, thus I disagree with your belief that it's an intentional "FU" to those left behind wondering why it happened. That is definitely the case with most of those I've had firsthand experiences with...

    Secret: nobody gives a shit.

If you want out quit posting and coming here. Go find your happy place.

I have always considered anyone who committed suicide as crazy and not something I would ever do. Twenty years ago I had a heart attack and afterwards the Dr put me on Lipitor. Within 4 weeks I started having strange thoughts about suicide, just out of the blue, I thought. I talked to the Dr and he immediately changed me to Simvastatin. All of those thoughts went away. Several years later I saw some articles about Lipitor causing issues like I was having and realized it was the medicine and not me. Still on it BTW with no problems.

Be careful about what medicines you take and do research.

We can agree to disagree. Are all suicides intentional FUs? Of course not but heading to a public range to off yourself sure says something about you. Hanging yourself in your own home where your family finds you (something I have seen) is also telling.

I get that people have inner demons. My first-hand experience is about half and half. Look, if you wanna off yourself, who am I to tell you not to but some who do care not one iota who they hurt in the process. Is that not selfishness?

The one area I do have sympathy is children. Seeing children do this disturbs me. Children often do not have control of what goes on in their lives, unlike adults.

SlimJim is right on the money.

Rotten suicide people who think it ok to hurt those they leave behind deserve zero sympathy and should be left out for the vultures to eat.

No, he's not, and neither are you.

Hopefully no one close to you ever commits suicide, or you wonder for the rest of your life if you could have prevented it.

The majority of suicides have to do anything with anyone outside of the person committing them. They are personal, not revenge or vengeance on others.
