They can flame all they want; I guess if someone wants to flame me he or she has nothing better to do. I am willing to bet that anyone who would flame me for shopping at CTD does business with outright RKBA enemies that support gun control like: Credit Karma, Reddit, The GAP, Levi Strauss, Twitter, UBER, Yelp or some of many others.Prepare to be flamed for using CTD.
Personally IDGAF where you spend your money, but the flame is coming I assure you. They can flame all they want; I guess if someone wants to flame me he or she has nothing better to do.
I stopped shopping there for years and figured it was long enough since they went back down in price and got real again. It's not like they are Dick's. As it is, I shop where I want, when I want - they can shop where they want when they want. Isn't the USA great in the free market regard!
No problem. Thanks. Also, sorry to be ungrateful @Glenn B I appreciate you being helpful.
The gouging was just bad customer service, but what really got me was their support for the Toomey-Manchin universal background check bill. They also pulled a lot of firearms from their site right after Sandy Hook. They are like Dicks.I stopped shopping at CTD for years after their price gouging on ammo but recently figured it was long enough since they went back down in prices and seemingly got real again. It's not like they are Dick's - at least not yet so I gave them a second chance.

I must admit, someone told me about that and I forgot about it; however, as I recall (and my little gray cells are not as sharp as once they were) CTD stated they were not in support of that act as I recall and had documentation to show for it. I seem to recall checking that the last time someone told me of the Toomey-Manchin universal background check bill (that I think was on this site). The gouging was just bad customer service, but what really got me was their support for the Toomey-Manchin universal background check bill. I see what you did there...... They are like Dicks.
.....
Cancelling yet to be fulfilled orders to raise the prices an astronomical amount on the same item didn't help their case either. They're snakes.
As much as I dislike this thread turning into a conversation, I gotta agree. Same email, same sentiment. And done. Used to spend a good bit with them myself. I expect that kinda behavior from a neckbeard hawking ammo outside a gun show. Not a "good Texas business"My death knell for me was an email after obummer was elected that showed used GI AR mags for $120. I had just bought some less than a month before for $8. Same. Exact. Mags.
Never again. I spent appx $2K a year with them.
WOW!
Those boxes would have pulled a premium. At least another $400 on top.Yeah, -but loose rounds in a big box. If they'd box 'em up 20 to the box, that Lake City 5.56 would've been expensive.
