I better not say it - some of y'all are already ready ta tar an' feather me! lol
I bought a P90 back in 1994. I didn't care for the trigger, but it was very reliable. It would feed and chamber empty 45 ACP brass with no problems whatsoever. I was hoping Ruger would improve the design, but Bill Ruger thought that the inconsistent trigger made the pistol safer for some reason. He also thought no one needed to have a magazine capacity of more than 10 rounds. I always liked Ruger firearms. They are built bank-vault tough, and priced (in their words) "for the everyman." Ruger has made some very good firearms since Bill's passing. I always wanted to try their gas piston AR, and I still want a No.1 rifle chambered for 6.5 Swede. I used to have a stainless Mini 14 Ranch Rifle. I liked it but it was nowhere near as accurate as the AR15s of that time. I'd like to get another one for plinking/truck rifle, but the prices of those went way up in recent history. I got mine for $450.00, used but shot very little. That was back in 1997 or so. Back then you could only get 10 round factory magazines and the aftermarket magazines were not very reliable. I think my favorite Ruger firearms (that I have owned) was my 357 Mag/38 Spl/9mm Convertible New Model Blackhawk, and the Ruger Security Six that my Dad left me when he passed. It's got a 6 inch barrel. It is well made, and quite accurate. My wife likes to shoot it because the small, factory grips fit well in her hands..45 ACP is now in use again for me with this Ruger P90DC I recently acquired.

Those Rugers make nice clubs also!I had the 40 cal version of this one. Didn't care for the slide having something mounted on it. Mine had hardly been shot, and the slide was hard as hell to pull back, and the decocker didn't help that. But once I got it rolling it shot great.
Nice find, I've had for nearly 20 years and it's still a favorite..45 ACP is now in use again for me with this Ruger P90DC I recently acquired.

It ran perfectly. I shot about 200 rounds through it. Most of it was steel cased.Nice! How does it run? How's the accuracy? Are there any quirks? I only ask because I am considering an AR pistol.

Jealousy comes to mind.Yeah it's a SP5. GT was able to order me one in a week at normal cost instead of the jacked up gunbroker prices. Was not expecting to get it until some time next year.
