    San Antonio!
We made it up for the first-ever Premier Gun show in New Braunfels this morning. As it's only a 30-45 minute drive from SA I am including it in this portion of the forum. It's been almost two years since Premier had a show in this area, so we were happy to see them back.

The show was held at the New Braunfels Civic Center and there was a pretty good turnout when we were there. They have two rooms with about 300-350 tables, and the majority of vendors were gun-related.

It was nice to see the Premier crew after so long, and several vendors we haven't seen since their San Antonio show. The aisles were a little narrow but since no one brought any strollers along, they were usually navigable. It was crowded but not a problem getting around with a little patience. Prices seemed a bit high but we don't go to shows as we used to so they may be the going rates these days. At least there was no charge for parking, so we saved a few dollars ther!

The next show is 14-15 March, and will be four times a year. More info on Premier's website:

    Yep.

Was an incredibly well attended show, both by venders and strolling public.

After months of deliberate forethought and calculation I splurged on an Atlas LW17 bipod.
With no forethought whatsoever I impulsively bought a Ruger All Weather 77/17 as I walked out.

What did you pay for the Ruger if I may ask?
I have the same model that I am thinking about selling.

    San Antonio!
So how did it compare to SAXET? or the fondly remembered Austin Hwy. show?

About half as big as SAXET, if even that; but different vendors from those who have been going to that show for decades now.

Much better than Austin Highway in terms of dealers and offerings.

Overall a pretty good show and hopefully a sign that Premier will one day resume its San Antonio events!

    Decent show for nowadays.
    Good crowd.
Surplus prices through the roof as expected and typical gunshow ammo prices.
A couple of tables has good new gun prices comparable to online dealers.
Picked up a sling for my 1886 Lebel.

    Gunz are icky.
    I don’t get the old mil-surp prices.
You can’t hardly find ammo for .303’s anymore but the rifles are nosebleeed priced.
Old Krag’s and such are just retarded expensive.
